Track Reasons for Canceling Appointments in Practice Preferences

  1. Open NextGen® Enterprise PM.
  2. Do one of the following:
    • From the main toolbar, select Chart.
    • Select Tasks > Lookup > Charts.
  3. In the Patient Lookup window, enter search criteria and select Find.
  4. Select Admin > Preferences > Practice.
  5. In the Practice Preferences window, select Appt Scheduling, and then select the Track for cancellation reason checkbox.
    The reason for canceling a future appointment is required and is tracked in the system.
  6. Select OK.
