Edit Guest Details
Within NextGen Virtual Visits™, select the Visits Visits icon icon from the main menu. In the Upcoming tab, select the visit that the guest is associated with. In the Invited Guest area, select the options menu Options icon located to the right of the guest’s name. Select Edit. In the Edit Guest window, make all necessary changes, and then select Save. Add a Patient Guest Before a Visit
Within NextGen Virtual Visits™, select the VisitsVisits icon icon from the main menu. In the Upcoming tab, select the visit you want to add a guest to. In the Invited Guests panel, select Add GuestAdd Guest icon. Select Yes. In the applicable fields, enter the guest’s First Name, Last Name, and their Relationship to the Patient . In the How should this guest receive their invite field, select the box next to the preferred way to contact the guest. This method is used to send the invitation to join the visit to the guest. If the patient has authorized this guest to join the visit, select the Patient (or legal representative) authorized disclosure of visit data to specified guest option. Select Add. Remove a Guest Before a Virtual Visit
If you or the patient decides that a guest should no longer attend, you can remove the guest before the visit. The guest's link to join the visit becomes not available. Within NextGen Virtual Visits™, select the VisitsVisits icon icon from the main menu. In the Upcoming tab, select the visit that the guest is associated with. In the Invited Guest area, select the options menu Options icon located to the right of the guest’s name. Select Remove Access. Review the Remove guest message, and then select Yes, Remove. Add an External Guest Before a Visit
You can invite an external guest to a visit, but you must first obtain authorization from the patient as you would for an in-office visit. Within NextGen Virtual Visits™, select the VisitsVisits icon icon from the main menu. In the Upcoming tab, select the visit you want to add a guest to. In the invited guests panel, select Add GuestAdd Guest icon. Select No. Enter the guest's First Name and Last Name, then select Search. Select and enter the contact method, which is used to send the invitation to join the visit.This step is necessary because the guest you are trying to invite is not a licensed NextGen Virtual Visits™ user at your practice. If the patient has authorized this guest to join the visit, select the Patient (or legal representative) authorized disclosure of visit data to specified guest option. Select Add. Add an Internal Guest Before a Visit
An internal guest receives an invitation according to the notification preferences they have set up in their NextGen Virtual Visits™ account. The internal guest can see the visit in the Upcoming Visits list, but their schedule in NextGen® Enterprise PM (if applicable) is not blocked. Within NextGen Virtual Visits™, select the VisitsVisits icon icon from the main menu. In the Upcoming tab, select the visit you want to add a guest to. In the Invited Guests panel, select Add GuestAdd Guest icon. Select No. Enter the provider's First Name and Last Name, and then select Search to search for the provider. Note: Only one character in each field is required for the system to search. For example, if you enter T for first name and H for last name, then the system results would display any licensed users in your practice that meet the search criteria. Resend a Virtual Visit Invitation to a Guest
If a guest cannot locate their invitation or accidentally deletes it, you can resend their invitation. Within NextGen Virtual Visits™, select the VisitsVisits icon icon from the main menu. In the Upcoming tab, select the visit the guest is associated with. In the Invited Guest area, select the options menu Options icon located to the right of the guest’s name. Select Resend communications. In the Resend Communications window, select the guest's contact method. Select Send. Parent topic: Managing Guests in NextGen Virtual Visits
