Create a Phrase

Select Manage my Phrases to access the Manage My Phrases template. To change the My phrase type, select the field to select the desired phrase type from the list. Use the List only these phrase types checkbox to filter the phrases listed in the data grid based on the My phrase type field. In My phrase summary, enter a brief description of the phrase. In My phrase, enter the phrase or statement. Select Add. The new phrase appears in the data grid. Select Save & Close. Parent topic: Managing Phrases

My Phrases

The My Phrases functionality is designed to save you time by saving frequently-used statements for patients’ histories, exam, assessments, and plans of care. You can quickly add the saved statements to a patient's chart. On the INF My Phrases Mng template, you can manage phrases. You can build, update, and delete your own phrases, and System set phrases, and copy phrases from other users to your own set. You can also save phrases on the fly when you are typing comments into fields. When the My Phrases functionality is available for a field, a down arrow icon and plus sign icon appear above the field or to the right of the field. The down arrow opens My Phrases and enables you to select previously saved phrases. The plus sign adds a phrase that you have typed in the field to your phrase set for that category. Managing Phrases

Use the INF My Phrases Mng template to build and manage your custom phrases used throughout the NextGen® Therapy Suite templates. The phrases are user-specific. You can add, update, or delete phrases, search by Category, View deleted or System sets, and copy phrases from other users. My Phrases

By using My Phrases, you can increase efficiency by saving the phrases you frequently type in patient comments. On the INF My Phrases Mng template, you can build and save your own phrases or System Set phrases or copy phrases from other providers. Then, when you are entering patient data, you can quickly insert the saved phrases into the comment fields. You can also save phrases on the fly when you are typing comments into fields. When My Phrases is available for a field, a down arrow button and plus sign button appear in the upper right above the field or to the right of the field. You can save phrases in a list for your own use in the NextGen Adaptive Content Engine templates. The My Phrases or My Phrases/ Common Phrases link on the NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine templates opens the Manage My phrases/Common Phrases template. This functionality enables you to create your own phrases or add commonly used phrases. You can do the following from the Manage My Phrases/Common Phrases template. Insert single or multiple phrases or common phrases directly to a section Add phrases to the my phrases list Update or remove previous phrases Restore deleted phrase Insert a Phrase with My Phrases You can insert standard phrases to a the section or field below the My Phrases link.
