R	Require Login Notification and Consent	Determines whether a notification and consent message appears upon login. The default is Yes.
S	Login Notification	Enter the text that appears in the Notification and Consent message, based on your organizations needs. This message appears when the Required Login Notification and Consent field is set to Yes.

Item Name Description J SMTP Host The SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol ) host field is used as a global e-mail setting for actions such as alerts. Enter the email you would like to use to receive alerts in the SMTP Host field. Select the Send Test Email button to send a simple test e-mail to the Default From Address email address. The SMTP Host, SMTP Port and Default From Address fields are required and must contain valid information to use send a test email. K SMTP Port SMTP port used for global email settings (such as alerts) L Send Timeout (ms) SMTP socket connection timeout in milliseconds. The default value is 5000 (ms) or 5 secs. User Preferences

The User Preferences section enables you to customize certain system behaviors for individual users. The following image shows the User Preferences section of the Administrator Settings tab, followed by descriptions of the items displayed. Note: Settings in this section are specific to the user currently logged on the current server. Item Name Description K Check for new notifications on login Checks for notifications from NextGen (such as announcements, available updates) relevant to this version of Mirth Connect whenever the user logs on. L Administrator Background Color If Server Default is selected, the background color chosen on the Server Settings Tab is used. View RxChange Messages on Encounter History

When you receive an Rx Change request and approve or deny the request, a notification is added to the patient's chart. The Encounter History displays the notifications as email items. Note: To view a list of all Rx Change Request and Rx Change Response messages, you can open the eRx Status window and filter on the Message Type. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR, and select a patient from Patient Lookup window. On the Encounter History tab, select an encounter and select the icon.The Encounter Details window opens. Under Documents & Images, select a notification.Depending on the notification you select, the details display on the RxChange Prescription Request tab or the RxChange Prescription Response tab. Response message details include: If approved or approved with changes, both the original and changed prescriptions. If denied, original medication and the requested medication from the pharmacy. Consent Policy Information

Field Description External System You can select the external system that contains the consent policy. This could be a Health Information Exchange (HIE), Regional Health Information Organization (RHIO), or any other system. Enterprise Patient? Indicates whether the patient is an enterprise patient. Consent Status You can specify whether the patient consents to sharing their information. If you do not change this value, it defaults to the consent policy for the practice (if there is one), and otherwise defaults to the consent policy for the enterprise. Effective Date If you change the default value in Consent Status, you can select the date when the patient consent was captured,. The default is the current date. You are not enabled to select a date earlier than the patient's date of birth.
