If you upload your files to NextGen® EDI in real time, a message appears in NextGen® Enterprise PM when the upload is successful and the file is received by NextGen® EDI. You can check EDI upload status for archived appointment reminders, recalls, or encounter collection letters in the patient chart.
- Open NextGen® Enterprise PM.
- Select Chart on the main toolbar, and then search for and select the desired patient.
- In the Patient Chart window, select the Clinical History/Notes tab.
- From the Topics list, select to expand the Letters folder and then select either the Appt Reminders folder, the Demand Encounter folder, or the Recalls folder.
Archived letters for the patient are listed in the
Details pane.
The
EDI Upload column displays one of the following:
- Y: The letter is uploaded to NextGen® EDI.
- N: The letter is not uploaded to NextGen® EDI.
- Blank: The Upload Export File to NextGen EDI checkbox is not selected when the letter is generated.
