View 'EDI Upload' Status in the Patient Chart

To view the EDI Upload status for an archived Appointment Reminder, Recall or Encounter Collection Letter, do the following:

  1. Access the Patient Chart for the desired patient.
  2. Select the Clinical History/Notes tab.
  3. From the Topics list on the left, select to expand the Letters folder and then selectS either the Appt Reminders folder, the Demand Encounter folder or the Recalls folder.
    Archived letters for the patient are listed in the Details pane on the right.
    The EDI Upload column displays one of the following:
    • Y: The letter was uploaded to NextGen EDI.
    • N: The letter was not uploaded to NextGen EDI.
    • Blank: The Upload Export File to NextGen EDI check box was not selected when the letter was generated.
