Respond to an Appointment Modification Request Through NextGen Mail

If another user links an appointment to a NextGen mail message and sends it to you with a pending action, such as a request to reschedule or cancel the appointment, you can respond with a confirmation message. This confirmation informs the requesting user that you have received the request and taken the appropriate action.

An appointment attached to a NextGen mail message is marked as pending and displayed in italicized text in the Appointment Book. The appointment remains in pending status until the requested action is completed and a confirmation message is sent.
