In NextGen® Enterprise PM, do the following to open the patient chart:
Select Tasks > Lookup > Charts
Use the search criteria and find the patient.
Double-click the patient with indicator.
The chart of the selected patient opens.
Select open menu next to the patient's name on the patient's chart and then select Set Active Patient.
The patient is set the current active patient.
Note: The Active Patient indicator appears on the status bar on the NextGen® Enterprise PMdesktop. You can hover over the Active Patient indicator to view the active patient's name.
