Set Active Patient Status for Patients

A patient set as the active patient remains in recall when you work with other patient charts and is available for quick access.
  1. Open NextGen® Enterprise PM.
  2. On the main toolbar, select Chart or Chart Lookup Chart Lookup icon .
    The Patient Lookup window opens.
  3. In the Search Criteria section, enter the patient's information, and then select Find.
    Patient records that match the search criteria appear in the Matching Records section.
  4. Select the patient, and then select Open.
    The Patient Chart window opens.
  5. Select open menu Open Menu icon and select Set Active Patient.
    The current patient is set as an active patient.
