Open Previous Patient Charts

  1. Open NextGen® Enterprise PM.
  2. On the main toolbar, select Chart, and then in Patient Lookup, enter your search criteria, and then select Find.
    Matching people and patient records appear in the search results.
  3. In Matching Records, select a patient record , and then select Open.
    The Patient Information tab opens in the Patient Chart window.
  4. On Patient Information Bar, select the open menu icon next to the patient name, select Access Previous Patient, and then select the necessary patient.
    The selected patient chart opens.
  5. Optional: To set the patient account as active, on Patient Information Bar, select the open menu icon next to the patient name, and then select Set Active Patient.
