, do one of the following to open the
Patient Lookup
window:
On the main toolbar, select
Chart
.
From the
Tasks
menu, select
Lookup

Charts
.
Select the arrow next to
Find
, and then select
Access Active Patient
from the menu.
The patient chart opens for the active patient.

Open Active Person Records
In NextGen® Enterprise PM, open the People Lookup window using one of the following methods: On the main toolbar, select Chart. From the Tasks menu, select Lookup > Charts. Select the arrow next to Find and select Access Active Patient from the menu. The Update Patient Information window opens displaying details of the active person. View Appointments for the Active Patient
In NextGen® Enterprise PM, open the Appointment Lookup window by doing one of the following: From the main toolbar, select the Appt List button. From the Tasks menu, select Lookup, and then Appointments. Appointment Lookup window Select the arrow next to Find, and then select Access Active Patient from the menu. Open the Active Patient Records for Making Payment Entries
In NextGen® Enterprise PM, open the Payment Entry window. For details on opening the Payment Entry window, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community, and download the latest Transactions User Guide forNextGen®Enterprise PM. Select open menu next to Patient/MRN, and then select Access Active Patient from the menu. The active patient details and the patient's most recent encounter appear. Open the Active Patient Records to Link New Appointments
In NextGen® Enterprise PM, select the Appt Book icon on the main toolbar. The Appointment Book window opens. From Appointment Book, open the Add Appointment window. Opening the Active Patient Record
Opening the Active Patient Record Opening the Active Patient Record In NextGen® Enterprise PM, you can open the current active patient's records from the following windows: People Lookup Patient Lookup Appointment Lookup Add Appointment Edit Appointment Charge Posting Payment Entry To open the patient chart, you can double-click the Active Patient indicator located on the status bar on the NextGen® Enterprise PM desktop. The patient's chart displays details of the active patient. Open Active Person Records You can quickly open the currently active person record from the People Lookup window. Open Active Patient Records You can quickly open the patient record that is currently active from the Patient Lookup window.
