Printing Patient Data Sheets

The data sheet includes demographic, responsible party (guarantor), primary insurance and secondary insurance information for the patient. You can use the Patient Data Sheet as an intake form to update the patient's demographic and financial information. There are two forms available: Patient Data Sheet and Patient Data Sheet Detail. The detail version of the form includes additional patient information that is not included on the other form. Printing Insurance Cards

The scanned image of an insurance card can be printed directly from the patient's appointment in the Appointment Book. The appointment must have an encounter linked to it, and one or more insurances must be attached to the encounter. Only those insurances with a scanned card image can be selected for printing. The scanned image of both the front and back of the card print on a single page. There is no option to preview the card prior to printing. Printing from Appointments

The following items can be printed from either the Appointment Book or the Appointment Lookup window in NextGen® Enterprise PM. Print Fee Tickets from Encounter Lookup

Fee Tickets can be printed for one or more patient encounters from the Encounter Lookup window. From the main toolbar, select the Encounter button. The Encounter Lookup window appears. Enter Search Criteria as needed to locate the desired patient encounters. Select Find. All encounters that match the search criteria entered display in the Encounter List section at the bottom of the window. From the Encounter List, select all encounters for which a fee ticket is to be printed. Right-click and select Print, and then Fee Ticket. If a fee ticket has already been printed for one or more of the selected encounters, the following prompt displays: A fee ticket already exists for [Patient Name] on [mm/dd/yyyy]. Do you want to reprint the appointment's fee ticket? Select one of the following buttons: Yes All: Select this button to reprint a fee ticket for the patient encounter displayed and for all other encounters in the list that had a previously printed fee ticket without begin prompted again

Print Fee Tickets

Open NextGen® Enterprise PM. On the main toolbar, select Chart or Chart Lookup . The Patient Lookup window opens. In the Search Criteria section, enter the patient's information, and then select Find. Patient records that match the search criteria appear in the Matching Records section. Select the patient, and then select Open. The Patient Chart window opens. select the Financial tab. All encounters for the patient are listed in the Financial Information section. Right-click an encounter in the encounters list, and then select Print > Fee Tickets. The Print Fee Tickets window opens. Select Print. Print a Blank Fee Ticket

A blank Fee Ticket can be printed without patient-specific information. From the File menu, select Print Forms, and then Blank Fee Ticket. The Print Fee Tickets window appears. The body section on a blank fee ticket, or the section between the header and footer, will print the image imported for the practice. To select a different body image, do the following in the Fee Ticket Options section: Select the Alternate Fee Ticket Body check box. Select the desired body image name in the drop-down field. In the Printer Settings section, the default printer for fee tickets is displayed. Note: The default printer for Fee Tickets is defined in Practice Preferences > Printing. If the user has specified a different printer in their General User Preferences > Printing, it overrides the printer defined in Practice Preferences. To select a different printer, select the Open Record button. The Print window appears. Select the desired printer Name, Print Range and Number of Copies, and then select OK.
