Printing Fee Tickets

A Fee Ticket is a form than can be printed and given to the provider to document diagnosis codes and procedure codes for a patient's encounter. The form can then be used as the source document for entering charges on the encounter. Fee Tickets can be printed from the following areas in NextGen® Enterprise PM: File Menu (blank forms only) Appointment Book Appointment Lookup Patient Chart > Encounters Tab Encounter Lookup Note: A Fee Ticket that is printed from an appointment before the appointment is checked-in and linked to an encounter does not include the encounter number in the header section. Print a Blank Fee Ticket A blank Fee Ticket can be printed without patient-specific information. Printing Insurance Cards

The scanned image of an insurance card can be printed directly from the patient's appointment in the Appointment Book. The appointment must have an encounter linked to it, and one or more insurances must be attached to the encounter. Only those insurances with a scanned card image can be selected for printing. The scanned image of both the front and back of the card print on a single page. There is no option to preview the card prior to printing. Print Patient Data Sheets from Encounter Lookup

Patient Data Sheets can be printed for one or more patients from the Encounter Lookup window. From the main toolbar, select the Encounter button. The Encounter Lookup window appears. Enter Search Criteria as needed to locate the desired patient encounters. Select Find. All encounters that match the search criteria entered display in the Encounter List section at the bottom of the window. From the Encounter List, select all encounters for which a patient data sheet is to be printed. Right-click and select Print, and then one of the following: Patient Data Sheet Patient Data Sheet Detail The Patient Data Sheet preview window appears. To print the form to the default printer, select the Quick Print button on the toolbar. Note: The default printer for Patient Data Sheets is defined in Practice Preferences > Printing. A Patient Data Sheet can be printed from a patient's encounter in the Patient Chart. Access the Patient Chart for the desired patient. Select the Encounters tab. In the Encounters section on the left, select the desired encounter. Right-click and select Print, and then one of the following: Patient Data Sheet Patient Data Sheet Detail The Patient Data Sheet preview window appears. To print the form to the default printer, select the Quick Print button on the toolbar. Note: The default printer for Patient Data Sheets is defined in Practice Preferences > Printing. If the user has specified a different printer in their General User Preferences > Printing, it overrides the printer defined in Practice Preferences.
