Significant Events Report

The Significant Events report provides an audit trail for specific user activity that has occurred within the NextGen Enterprise applications. These are known as significant events. When a significant event occurs, a message is recorded in each patient's chart. The message includes the name of the user that performed the event, the date/time the event occurred, and both pre-modification and post-modification information. Some significant events are System Level and are recorded for all practices in all enterprises. Other events are Enterprise Level and are recorded for all practices within the same enterprise. Other events are Practice Level and are recorded for the practice(s) in which they have been enabled. Patient Case Report

Patient Insurance Report

The Patient Insurance report enables you to generate a list of patients sorted and grouped by insurance. To access the report in NextGen® Enterprise PM, select the Reports menu and select General and the select Patient Insurance. To access the report in File Maintenance, select System Master Files and then select Payers. From the Payers List window, right-click on a payer and select Print and then Patient Insurance Listing. Insurance Aging Analysis – Age Responsible Balances Only Report

The Insurance Aging Analysis – Age Responsible Balances Only report repeats the charge lines for as many buckets in balance control that have a balance. For example, if a charge has an amount in the insurance 1 bucket and a patient bucket, the report lists the same charge on two lines. One line displays the amount for the insurance 1 bucket - along with the payer name and financial class of the primary payer name - and the other line displays the patient amount with the payer name and financial class listed as self pay. To access the report in NextGen® Enterprise PM, select the Reports menu and select Accounts Receivable, then select Collections, and then select Insurance Aging Analysis - Age Responsible Balances Only. Insurance Aging Analysis Report

The line item Insurance Aging Analysis report is a charge-based report and used to show aging by responsible payer. This report is different from other aging reports because all other aging reports age by primary payer. This report shows the responsible payer in the COB (Coordination Of Benefits) column. The responsible payer is represented by one of the following codes: Field Description P Patient Pay 1 Primary Payer 2 Secondary Payer 3 Tertiary Payer The responsible payer is determined by the following rules: The primary payer displays when the primary insurance bucket has either a positive or negative balance. The secondary payer displays when the primary insurance bucket is zero and the secondary insurance bucket has either a positive or negative balance. The tertiary payer displays when the primary and secondary insurance buckets are zero and the tertiary insurance bucket has either a positive or negative balance. Eligibility Verification Benefit Report

The Eligibility Verification Benefit report is available if your system is licensed for NextGen Eligibility Verification. You can use the report to view benefit information returned by payers for patients that had an eligibility request submitted from NextGen® Enterprise PM. For more information, go to the NextGen Healthcare Success Community and download the User Guide for NextGen® Eligibility Verification Report configuration and filter options include Request Date, Response Date, Service Type, Insurance Type, and Payer. To access the report in NextGen® Enterprise PM, select Reports > General and then select Eligibility Verification Benefit. Note: This report uses enhanced reporting functionality.
