NextGen® Enterprise PM Reports

The Reports User Guide for NextGen® Enterprise PM provides information for configuring and generating reports in NextGen® Enterprise PM. You can create reports commonly used in your practice, and each report can be customized by selecting the desired columns, filters and sorting options. Note: Behavior such as the system crashing or out of memory errors can be experienced if you run a report that is pulling more data than the system or application can handle. It is recommended to use report filter options to minimize the report output so that the reports can be generated, viewed, printed, and exported without any issues. You can generate reports from the following categories: Daily Reports: Reports in the Daily category provide the ability to run reports with full detail. These reports have "drill-down" functionality that enables you to double-click on a record to view or edit its details. Enhanced Reports in NextGen® Enterprise PM

An Enhanced Reporting feature can be made available to improve the system performance for specific reports in NextGen® Enterprise PM. These are reports that are typically database intensive when they are generated due to the large amount of data being reported. When made available, a new user interface and paging mechanism is used that allows these reports to be generated, viewed, printed and exported in a timelier manner. Enhanced Reporting is available for the following reports: General Significant Events Claim Status Estimate Patient Cost Daily Activity Detail By Line Item Payments By Transaction Payments By Encounter Payments Accounts Receivable Aging Analysis by Encounter Aging Analysis by Line Item Collections > Insurance Aging Analysis Collections > Insurance Aging Analysis – Age Responsible Balances Only Monthly Change in Accounts Receivable by Encounter Change in Accounts Receivable by Line Item Service Item Summary Extended Amount and Transactions Service Item Summary Transac

Enable Enhanced Reporting

Enhanced Reporting is enabled for select reports in NextGen® Enterprise PM from Practice Preferences > Reports. Access Practice Preferences. In the Preference List on the left, select Reports. To enable enhanced reporting, select the Use enhanced reporting with paging. In the Maximum records to display on screen field, select the maximum number of data records to display on the screen per page when an enhanced report is generated. The default value is 25. In the Enhanced Report Selection field, select or deselect the desired reports individually, or right-click and choose Select All or Deselect All from the menu. Note: If Use enhanced reporting with paging is selected, then this field is required. If no reports are selected, the following prompts displays when the OK button is selected: No enhanced report was selected. Please select at least one enhanced report. Accounts Receivable Reports

The Accounts Receivable reports category includes various reports that you can use to review financial information for patients and guarantor accounts in your practice. The reports can help you monitor and manage outstanding A/R and assist with your internal billing and collections processes in NextGen® Enterprise PM.
