Patient Notifications Practice Preferences

The Patient Notifications practice preferences enables you to setup the type of communication methods used for contacting a patient within your practice. The notification preferences selected on this window, will display on the Demographics tab of the Patient/Person Information window and on various reports. You can change the order of the notification types, select the notification preferences and contact methods, display the Notification field in demographics, make the Notification field required, and automatically select the notification preferences in the Notification field.

You can make these notifications specific to a single practice. After you select the check box to make the notifications practice specific, it cannot be reversed. This is a permanent selection.

Notification preferences can be reported on the following reports:
  • Patient Recall
  • Patient Chart Demographics
  • Patient Chart Demographic with Providers
  • Daily Appointments Listing

  • Kept Appointments No Charges
  • Waitlist
