Web Service Configuration

The Web Service Configuration master file displays only if you have a license for the NextGen® Optical Management application. The master file lists the Web services that your practice has licensed for use with the NextGen® Optical Management application. When you license VisionWeb, for example, NextGen Healthcare adds the VisionWeb configuration to the Web Service Configuration master file. Web service configurations contain the Web addresses that each function of the service must access. Although it is possible to edit the Web address for each function by double-clicking in the Value field, you should coordinate any Web service configuration changes with NextGen Healthcare. Online Practice Settings

You can configure the following in Online Practice Settings master file. Set Up Practice Preferences

You can set preferences for your practice from NextGen® Enterprise PM or File Maintenance. To open the Practice Preferences window, do one of the following: In NextGen® Enterprise PM, select Admin > > Preferences > Practice. In File Maintenance, select Master Files > System > Practices, double-click a practice name, and then select Preferences. Set preferences on various tabs in the Practice Preferences window. Set NextGen Adaptive Content Engine Save Action for Internal Documents Assign External Resource Links in Practice Preferences to be added later. Assign Quick File Configurations to Practices

Before you begin In Enterprise Preferences, you must activate Practice access for Quick File Configurations. Open File Maintenance. In Master Files, select System, and then select Quick File Configurations. The Quick File Configurations List window opens. Right-click the configuration in the list that you want to assign, and then select Practice Access. The Quick File Master Access by Practice window opens. Select the practices that you want to have access to the Quick File configuration. To select all the practices, select the Practice option. Select OK.
