Web Service Configuration

The Web Service Configuration master file displays only if you have a license for the NextGen® Optical Management application. The master file lists the Web services that your practice has licensed for use with the NextGen® Optical Management application. When you license VisionWeb, for example, NextGen Healthcare adds the VisionWeb configuration to the Web Service Configuration master file. Web service configurations contain the Web addresses that each function of the service must access. Although it is possible to edit the Web address for each function by double-clicking in the Value field, you should coordinate any Web service configuration changes with NextGen Healthcare. Certificates

In the Certificates master file, you can create, modify, or remove payment provider certificate details. You can then use the certificates in the Online Practice Settings master file in NextGen® PxP Portal. Open File Maintenance. Under Master Files, select Patient Portal or System > Certificates. The Certificate Management window opens. Select New in the toolbar. In the Certificate Name field, update the name, if required. Select the ellipsis next to Certificate Zip file path. Select the certificate GZip file, and then select Open. The fields in the Certificate Details section automatically populate. Verify that the information is correct, and then select Save in the toolbar. Parent topic: Master Files - System

Open the Practice Configuration Template

You can use the NextGen Enterprise EHR to open the Practice Configuration template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. From the File menu, select System \ Practice Template. The Select Template window opens. Select Template Select the Practice tab, and in Show, select All. Double-click Practice Configuration in the list or select Practice Configuration, and then select OK. The Practice Configuration practice template opens.
