Add Stored Procedure and Style Sheet

You can add the stored procedure and style sheet for a specialty associated with an encounter. Open File Maintenance. Under Master Files, select EHR, and then select Encounter Summary Appearance. The EHR Encounter Summary Appearance window opens. To add a stored procedure for a specialty, select Add. The Add window opens. Note: If you select the Display no data check box, the data from stored procedure and style sheet for a specialty do not appear in the encounter details of NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Select a specialty from the available list. Select a stored procedure from the available list for the selected specialty. Select a style sheet from the available list for the selected specialty. Select Save. The stored procedure and style sheet are set for a specialty for the Encounter History tab. Update Stored Procedure and Style Sheet

You can update the stored procedure and style sheet for an existing specialty associated with an encounter. Open File Maintenance. Under Master Files, select EHR, and then select Encounter Summary Appearance. The EHR Encounter Summary Appearance window opens. Select the available specialty and the stored procedure for the available specialty, and then select Edit. The Edit <Specialty> for a specialty opens. Note: If you select the Display no data check box, the data from stored procedure and style sheet for a specialty do not appear in the encounter details of NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Select a specialty from the available list. Select a stored procedure from the available list for the selected specialty. Select a style sheet from the available list for the selected specialty. Select Save. The stored procedure and style sheet are set for a specialty for the Encounter History tab. Remove Stored Procedure and Style Sheet

You can remove the existing specialty along with the stored procedure and style sheet linked for an encounter summary. Open File Maintenance. Under Master Files, select EHR, and then select Encounter Summary Appearance. The EHR Encounter Summary Appearance window opens. Select a specialty that you want to delete, and select Remove. Manage Encounter History at Practice-Level

You can customize the appearance of the Encounter History at the practice level with System Administrator privileges. You can set patient’s encounter preferences for the encounter display, encounter filters, encounter component expansion, and inclusion of Case Management, if applicable. Encounters are identified by date and time, provider, and location. You can choose which information to include, its format, and its order. You can also choose to include remarks. Create Layout and Preferences for NextGen® Enterprise EHR

You can create a layout configuration that you want to display on NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open File Maintenance. Under Master Files, select EHR, and then select Application Appearance. The EHR Application Appearance window opens displaying the preview of the Patient Information Card (PIC), Quick Buttons, Encounter History, and Categories for the Default configuration. Select New. The Edit EHR Application Appearance Configuration window opens. Enter a name for your configuration. Set up the Patient Info, Quick Buttons, and Encounter History information as required. Select Save. A preview of the added configuration appears. To view the list of practices available to associations with the configuration, select Look up by Practice on the Edit EHR Application Appearance Configuration window. Note: Once you associate a practice with a configuration, it cannot be associated with any other configuration.
