Update Stored Procedure and Style Sheet

You can update the stored procedure and style sheet for an existing specialty associated with an encounter. Open File Maintenance. Under Master Files, select EHR, and then select Encounter Summary Appearance. The EHR Encounter Summary Appearance window opens. Select the available specialty and the stored procedure for the available specialty, and then select Edit. The Edit <Specialty> for a specialty opens. Note: If you select the Display no data check box, the data from stored procedure and style sheet for a specialty do not appear in the encounter details of NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Select a specialty from the available list. Select a stored procedure from the available list for the selected specialty. Select a style sheet from the available list for the selected specialty. Select Save. The stored procedure and style sheet are set for a specialty for the Encounter History tab. Select a specialty from the available list. Select a stored procedure from the available list for the selected specialty. Select a style sheet from the available list for the selected specialty. Select Save. The stored procedure and style sheet are set for a specialty for the Encounter History tab. Sort Encounter Summary Data

You can sort the components in the display section by specialty, style sheets, and stored procedures alphabetically. Select the name of the column to sort by: Specialty Stored Procedure Style Sheet The components are sorted alphabetically. After you select the column name, an up or down arrow appears to change the display order. To reverse the order for a column, select the up or down arrow in it. Configuring Patient Encounter Summary

The Encounter Summary Appearance master file enables you to configure the stored procedures and style sheets that are used to display data for a given specialty appearing in the encounter summary on the Encounter History tab. Note: If the stored procedure and style sheet are not configured on the Encounter Summary Appearance window, the default setting applies to all specialties. Create Layout and Preferences for NextGen® Enterprise EHR

You can create a layout configuration that you want to display on NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open File Maintenance. Under Master Files, select EHR, and then select Application Appearance. The EHR Application Appearance window opens displaying the preview of the Patient Information Card (PIC), Quick Buttons, Encounter History, and Categories for the Default configuration. Select New. The Edit EHR Application Appearance Configuration window opens. Enter a name for your configuration. Set up the Patient Info, Quick Buttons, and Encounter History information as required. Select Save. A preview of the added configuration appears. To view the list of practices available to associations with the configuration, select Look up by Practice on the Edit EHR Application Appearance Configuration window. Note: Once you associate a practice with a configuration, it cannot be associated with any other configuration. To associate practices with the new configuration, select the configuration from the list

You can modify a configuration for the layout that you want to display on NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open File Maintenance. Under Master Files, select EHR, and then select Application Appearance. The EHR Application Appearance window opens displaying the preview of the Patient Information Card (PIC), Quick Buttons, Encounter History, and Categories for the Default configuration. Select the required configuration from the list. Note: The EHR Application Appearance window displays a preview of the Patient Information Card (PIC), Quick Buttons, Encounter History, and Categories based on the settings in the selected configuration. To view a configuration associated with a practice, select Look up by Practice, select a practice from the list, and then select OK.
