Allergies

The Allergies grid displays the patient’s allergies and reactions entered through the Medication Allergies module. The Reviewed check box above the grid indicates that allergies have been reviewed. The None check box is automatically selected if no allergies are listed. Medications

Use the Medications grid to view the patient's active medications. These are pulled from the Medications module. You can reconcile the medications, add new ones, or remove ones that are no longer active. To indicate that medications have been reviewed, select the Reviewed check box. The None check box is automatically selected if no medications are listed. To remove a medication, select it and click Remove. Note: When you click Remove, it instantly removes the selected medication from the grid and changes its status to inactive in the Medications module. Make certain that you have selected the medication that you intend to remove. To add or edit a medication, click Add to open the Medications module. Diagnosis Details of Patients

The Diagnosis grid displays the orthopedic diagnoses or general medical diagnoses of the patient, depending on the selected option above the grid. The Diagnosis grid displays data entered on the applicable templates of the NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine and NextGen® Orthopedic Suite. You can also add, edit, and remove diagnoses of the patient. Diagnosis grid Add the Patient's Diagnoses Edit a Diagnosis You can edit the description of a diagnosis. Add Review of Systems

Click the Add button under the Review of Systems grid. Review of Systems template The Review of Systems template opens. Enter data for the patient by doing one or more of the following: Click the Quick icon and select a provider's Quick Load set to fill the template. Click the ROS defaults field and selecting a global specialty default to fill the template. Select the corresponding option for the patients associated symptoms as applicable. Note: To create a rendering provider Quick Load, fill out template as desired and click the Quick Save (floppy disk) icon. Review of Systems

The left side navigation in the Review of Systems grid displays a list of templates you can open to document review of systems. These may include: One Page ROS templates, Therapy Suite-specific templates for documenting the patient’s limitations (Function), worker’s compensation (Work Function), Pediatric, TMD, and Acupuncture templates for those clinics that offer Acupuncture. You can configure the left side navigation by using the Navigation Configuration system template. Review Exams

You can review any completed exam in the grid. You cannot make changes to an exam that was entered in a previous encounter. Select the exam you want to review. Select Review. The information is displayed as it was entered on the template. Parent topic: Documenting Exams
