The Review of Systems grid displays the review of systems entered for the today’s encounter. All items entered as positive are shown at the top. Create and Save a QuickPick

You can create a QuickPick for a template with any amount of information filled in. If the template has questions and answers, you can include only questions or both questions and answers to save as part of the QuickPick. You can save the QuickPick to a rendering provider or as a system set. Note: To save a system set QuickPick, you must be in a security group with configured rights in the QuickPick Manager Configuration template. For more information about setting up security groups for system sets, refer to the Configuration Guide for NextGen® Therapy Suite. Open the template you want to create a QuickPick for. Review of Systems

The left side navigation in the Review of Systems grid displays a list of templates you can open to document review of systems. These may include: One Page ROS templates, Therapy Suite-specific templates for documenting the patient’s limitations (Function), worker’s compensation (Work Function), Pediatric, TMD, and Acupuncture templates for those clinics that offer Acupuncture. You can configure the left side navigation by using the Navigation Configuration system template. Reviewed

Above the diagnosis grid you may see a Reviewed checkbox. Reviewed checkbox If you select the Reviewed checkbox, the system copies data forward to future encounters until a new ordering diagnosis is added. If a new ordering diagnosis is added, the checkbox clears; the therapist must review the additional diagnosis and select the checkbox again. Note: The Reviewed checkbox can be configured to be: Required, Not required, or Hidden on the Practice Configuration practice template. Order Tests, Therapies, Equipment, and Referrals in the Single Order Template

You can document the details of radiology, therapy, lab, durable medical equipment (DME), and referral orders required for a patient and place all orders at once. Open the Home or any other applicable template, select Orders from the upper navigation bar, and then select Single Order. Select Dx & Px to add the necessary diagnoses and procedures. Selecting procedures is optional; however, you must add at least one diagnosis to order external radiology tests, therapies, durable medical equipment (DME), lab tests, and referrals. Note: You can use the Radiology Picklists panel in the Radiology Configuration template to make diagnosis-code selection mandatory for placing internal radiology test orders, depending on the category. Order Referrals in the Referral Order Template

You can place referral orders for other specialties, providers, therapies, and durable medical equipment. Open the Home or any other applicable template, select Orders from the upper navigation bar, and then select Referral Order. The Referral Order template opens. To add diagnoses and procedures for the order, select Dx & Px. Note: Selecting procedures is optional; however, you must select at least one diagnosis to order referrals. Optional: To indicate that the referral is internal, select Internal referral. Select the date of injury and insurance name. Note: By default, the encounter date appears in Date. You can change the date, if needed. The policy number is automatically filled based on the selected insurance name. In the To section, do one of the following to select the recipient: To add a referral for a specialty or provider, select Specialty/specialist name/site, and then select the specialty, provider name, and reason.
