Manage Review of Systems on SOAP

You can add or edit the symptoms documented by the intake staff in the Review of Systems panel on the SOAP template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the SOAP template. To document multiple systems on one template, do the following: In the Review of Systems panel, select the one page ROS link in the left pane. Document the findings on the respective ROS template. Select Save & Close. To document the findings for a single system, do the following: In the Review of Systems panel, select a single system in the left pane. Document the findings on the system specific ROS template. Select Save & Close. To edit a system, do the following: In the Review of Systems panel, select a record. Copy Review of Systems from Previous Encounters

You can copy review of systems from previous encounters of a patient to the current encounter instead of manually adding them. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the SOAP template, and then expand the Reason for Visit panel. Select ROS History.The Historical Information window opens. Note: The records are displayed for the default duration configured in the Copy Previous Visit Information section of the Practice Configuration template. For more information, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community, and download the Practice Configuration Template User Guide for NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine. To filter the records in the grid, enter the search criteria in Filter by, and then select Search. Note: If the records are displayed from any sensitive encounter, an asterisk (*) appears on the record in the Sensitive column to help you decide whether to copy such records and update the current encounter as sensitive. Review a Patient's Symptoms for Various Systems

As part of the provider workflow, you can review and update symptoms entered during the patient's intake. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the SOAP template, and then expand the Review of Systems panel. To select a default set of findings, select an appropriate value in ROS Defaults. Note: You can also select Load to quickly load any saved review of systems, or select Save to save the documented review of systems to use them on other encounters. To document symptoms for multiple systems on a single template, select One Page ROS from the left navigation bar. Note: You can configure the One Page ROS link to open a gender-specific or gender-neutral template by using the Framework Content template. You can also customize the label for the One Page ROS link. To document findings for a single system, select an appropriate link from the left navigation bar. Review of Systems for Well Child

You can review and update a patient's symptoms entered during the intake process in the Review of Systems panel on the Pediatric SOAP template. To document symptoms for multiple systems on a single template, you can click Pediatric ROS or other systems listed in the left pane. The systems listed in the left pane are configured on the Framework Content system template. Review of Systems You can copy the previous review of systems records to the current encounter using the ROS History button. Document the Review of Systems Findings

You can document the findings of a patient's review of systems for multiple systems using a single template or a single system. Before you begin The One Page ROS option opens a gender-specific or gender-neutral Review of Systems (ROS) template based on the configuration of the Review of Systems section on the Framework Content system template. The Select other ROS option displays the practice's systems configured on the Framework Content system template. You can configure the gender-neutral Reproductive ROS template based on the configuration of the SOGI/Transgender section on the Practice Configuration template. Pediatric Review of Systems

You can document the findings for a patient after reviewing a list of systems on the Review of Systems panel on the Intake template. You can click the required system in the left pane, and document the details in the respective ROS template. Note: The Pediatric ROS link enables you to document symptoms for multiple systems on a single Pediatric - ROS template. Review of Systems The documented ROS findings appear in rows in the Review of Systems panel with the system name, positive or negative symptom indication, and the findings. You can modify the review of systems findings. The Developmental History button enables you to open the Child Dev.Rec template to document the developmental details of the patient.
