Pediatric Screening for Well Child

You can document and manage the screening tests and results in the Screening panel. In the Screening panel on the Pediatric SOAP template, you can do the following: Document different screenings for a patient using the screening buttons in the panel. View the patient's screening tests and results from the grid. Remove some of the screening results from the grid. Open the document attached to the screening results, if available. View the lab results for the pediatric patient. Physical Exam for Well Child

You can examine a patient and document the information in the Physical Exam panel on the Pediatric SOAP template. In the Physical Exam panel, you can do the following: Use the One Page Exam link to document a complete exam on a single template or click the single system exams from the left pane and its submenu. When you click the single system exam or its submenu, it opens the respective template. Select a system from the list if the applicable system does not appear in the left pane using the Additional link. The physical exam template associated with the selected system appears to document the appropriate physical exam findings. Use the Office Diagnostics button to document or review diagnostics. General Information for Well Child Visit

You can enter a patient's general information. The General panel on the Pediatric SOAP template displays whether the patient is new or established. You can view the patient's well child age and review the previous well child visits and documents. General panel In the General panel, you can do the following: View the patient's well child age based on the patient's date of birth in the Well Child Age list, and select a different well child age from the Select different well child visit list, if required. When you select a different well child age in Select different well child visit, the selected age appears in Well Child Age. View the patient's most recent well child encounter in the Previous Well Child Visit field. View the Chart Note or Master document from previous encounters using the Open Selected Well Child Visit button. If the previous encounter selected in Previous Well Child Visit does not have an associated Chart Note or Master document, the Open Selected Well Child Visit butt

Manage Pediatric ROS Findings

You can add or edit symptoms entered during the intake process in the Review of Systems panel on the SOAP template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the SOAP template. To document multiple systems on one template in the Review of Systems panel, do the following: Click the one page Pediatric ROS link in the left pane. Note: The one page Pediatric ROS link opens a gender-specific or gender-neutral ROS template based on the configuration done in the Framework Content system template. Based on your preference, you can also add a caption for the one page Pediatric ROS link in the Framework Content system template. Pediatric Review of Systems

You can document the findings for a patient after reviewing a list of systems on the Review of Systems panel on the Intake template. You can click the required system in the left pane, and document the details in the respective ROS template. Note: The Pediatric ROS link enables you to document symptoms for multiple systems on a single Pediatric - ROS template. Review of Systems The documented ROS findings appear in rows in the Review of Systems panel with the system name, positive or negative symptom indication, and the findings. You can modify the review of systems findings. The Developmental History button enables you to open the Child Dev.Rec template to document the developmental details of the patient. Review a Patient's Symptoms for Various Systems

As part of the provider workflow, you can review and update symptoms entered during the patient's intake. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the SOAP template, and then expand the Review of Systems panel. To select a default set of findings, select an appropriate value in ROS Defaults. Note: You can also select Load to quickly load any saved review of systems, or select Save to save the documented review of systems to use them on other encounters. To document symptoms for multiple systems on a single template, select One Page ROS from the left navigation bar. Note: You can configure the One Page ROS link to open a gender-specific or gender-neutral template by using the Framework Content template. You can also customize the label for the One Page ROS link.
