Manage Review of Systems on SOAP

You can add or edit the symptoms documented by the intake staff in the Review of Systems panel on the SOAP template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the SOAP template. To document multiple systems on one template, do the following: In the Review of Systems panel, select the one page ROS link in the left pane. Document the findings on the respective ROS template. Select Save & Close. To document the findings for a single system, do the following: In the Review of Systems panel, select a single system in the left pane. Document the findings on the system specific ROS template. Select Save & Close. To edit a system, do the following: In the Review of Systems panel, select a record. Manage Pediatric ROS Findings

You can add or edit symptoms entered during the intake process in the Review of Systems panel on the SOAP template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the SOAP template. To document multiple systems on one template in the Review of Systems panel, do the following: Click the one page Pediatric ROS link in the left pane. Note: The one page Pediatric ROS link opens a gender-specific or gender-neutral ROS template based on the configuration done in the Framework Content system template. Based on your preference, you can also add a caption for the one page Pediatric ROS link in the Framework Content system template. Review a Patient's Symptoms for Various Systems

As part of the provider workflow, you can review and update symptoms entered during the patient's intake. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the SOAP template, and then expand the Review of Systems panel. To select a default set of findings, select an appropriate value in ROS Defaults. Note: You can also select Load to quickly load any saved review of systems, or select Save to save the documented review of systems to use them on other encounters. To document symptoms for multiple systems on a single template, select One Page ROS from the left navigation bar. Note: You can configure the One Page ROS link to open a gender-specific or gender-neutral template by using the Framework Content template. You can also customize the label for the One Page ROS link. To document findings for a single system, select an appropriate link from the left navigation bar. Copy Physical Exam Findings from Previous Encounters

You can copy physical exam findings from previous encounters of a patient to the current encounter instead of manually adding them. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the SOAP template, and then expand the Physical Exam panel. Select Physical Exam History.The Historical Information window opens. Note: The records are displayed for the default duration configured in the Copy Previous Visit Information section of the Practice Configuration template. To filter the records in the grid, enter the search criteria in Filter by, and then select Search. You can copy reasons for a patient's visit from previous encounters to the current encounter instead of manually adding them. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Intake template, and then expand the Reason for Visit panel. Select HPI History. The Historical Information - HPI window opens. Note: The records are displayed for the default duration configured in the Copy Previous Visit Information section of the Practice Configuration template. You can copy assessments from previous encounters of a patient to the current encounter instead of manually adding them. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the SOAP template, and then expand the Assessment/Plan panel. Select Dx/AP History.The Assessment, Diagnosis Copy Forward window opens. Note: By default, the All Assessments option is selected and records are displayed for the default duration configured in the Copy Previous Visit Information section of the Practice Configuration template. To copy assessments from a specific encounter, select Encounter Assessments. To filter the records in the grid, enter the search criteria in Filter by, and then select Search.
