Set Up Advanced Auditing

Before you begin Before you set up advanced auditing feature, make sure that the appropriate group and users have the proper rights and permissions set. You can setup the advanced auditing features to include the events to be audited as per your requirement. From the System Administrator, select View > Advanced Audit Setup. The Advanced Audit Setup window opens. Select the Enable Advanced Auditing check box (if required). Note: Starting with NextGen® Enterprise application, 5.9.2020.1 release onwards, advanced auditing is a required module. Values for Server Name list and Distribute Load evenly are set automatically by the Service Manager and should not be changed. Advanced auditing and audit events are also enabled automatically. Select the Events Setup tab. Expand the Enterprise and Practice to display audit categories. Expand a category to display the available options. Email Notifications for Messages Stuck in the Outgoing Audit Message Queue

In the Audit Report Tool, audit messages can sometimes get stuck in the outgoing message queue. To send notifications of such messages to concerned individuals, you can enable and configure the email notification feature in the System Administrator application. The email notification feature is disabled by default. When an audit message is stuck in any workstation for more than the time interval that you specify, the system sends the notification email to the applicable recipients after the user starts any of the applications that use the Advanced Auditing system. The system stops sending email notifications when the user closes the applications. Set Up Advanced Auditing for NextGen® EDI Messaging

In Advanced Audit, you can track changes to NextGen® EDI Messaging. This tracking occurs when a user changes how appointment reminders, balance reminders, and recall plans are sent to the patient. The current methods are email, SMS text, and voice reminders. Open NextGen® Enterprise PM. Do one of the following: From the main toolbar, select Chart. Select Tasks > Lookup > Charts. In the Patient Lookup window, enter search criteria and select Find. Select Admin > Advanced Audit Setup. In the Advanced Audit Setup window, select your practice. Advanced auditing tracks the events across all NextGen® Enterprise applications.
