Set Up Advanced Auditing for NextGen® EDI Messaging

In Advanced Audit, you can track changes to NextGen® EDI Messaging. This tracking occurs when a user changes how appointment reminders, balance reminders, and recall plans are sent to the patient. The current methods are email, SMS text, and voice reminders.
  1. Open NextGen® Enterprise PM.
  2. Do one of the following:
    • From the main toolbar, select Chart.
    • Select Tasks > Lookup > Charts.
  3. In the Patient Lookup window, enter search criteria and select Find.
  4. Select Admin > Advanced Audit Setup.
  5. In the Advanced Audit Setup window, select your practice.
  6. Select Admin > Preferences > Practice.
  7. In the Practice Preferences window, select the EDI Services checkbox, and then select OK.
    NextGen® EDI Messaging is now available.
