Subgroup	Used in	Description
Allow Fax	NextGen® Enterprise EHR	Enables users to fax lab results or radiology orders in the Orders module.
Allow Interface Send	NextGen® Enterprise EHR	Enables users to send labs results or radiology orders electronically.
Allow Registry Query	NextGen® Enterprise EHR	Enables users to do a query of the registry.
Allow Search Orders	NextGen® Enterprise EHR	Enables users to display the Orders Search bar in NextGen® Enterprise EHR when a patient's chart is open (this is the Default). You can change the setting to turn the search bar display off (set to No). If this option is turned on (set to Yes), but the Enable Search Bar Practice or the Search Bar command is turned off, the Orders Search bar is not displayed in NextGen® Enterprise EHR. The Enable Search Bar practice preference is turned on in File Maintenance>EHR System Master Files> Practices> Preferences> EHR, Enable Orders Search Bar option.
Allow Updating Imm Order On Locked Encounter	NextGen® Enterprise EHR	Enables users to update immunization orders on a locked encounter within the Orders module.
Allow Updating Practice Filters	NextGen® Enterprise EHR	Enables users to set up and modify Practice Result Filters in the Orders module. This can be achieved in the following order: Orders module>Results>Manage Filters.
Modify Lab Critical Range Alert	NextGen® Enterprise EHR	Enables users to set up and modify the Lab Critical Range Alert. This can be achieved in the following order: Orders module>Orders tab>Results>Setup.
Modify Result Print Option/Header Option	NextGen® Enterprise EHR	Enables you to prevent users from updating the print and header options on the Orders Summary tab Formatted Results section. The option is set to Yes by default. When set to No, the restrict print and header option rights for this group are disabled. The Save settings options is disabled and does not display on the Print/Results Options window.
View Lab Critical Range Alert	NextGen® Enterprise EHR	Enables users to view the Lab Critical Range Alert when results trigger the alert in the NextGen® Enterprise EHR Orders Module.

NextGen Care Population Management Hub Operation

The NextGen Care Population Management Hub Operation permission enables NextGen® Enterprise users access to the Population Management Hub based on the user's role. The rights are set to Yes by default. Note: Rights can be set to Yes or No for the entire group or individually. Orders Module

You can use the NextGen® Enterprise EHR Orders module to create and manage your lab and radiology orders (also known as diagnostic imaging orders). You can perform the following tasks from the Orders module: Place and send lab and radiology orders. Complete unfinished lab or radiology orders for a patient that originate from a bulk order generated through NextGen Care® Population Management Hub. Choosing advanced imaging tests by their appropriate use criteria (AUC) scores when you place a radiology order. Set up order filters for your practice or private use. Set up schedules for future and recurring orders. Add, view, and track order comments from different areas of the Orders module. Enter test results manually or view test results received from an interface. Send lab results to NextGen® PxP Portal. Defining Private and Practice Orders Filters Defining Private and Practice Orders Filters You can create private or practice filters to select the type of order information to display for an individual patient on the Orders Summary grid or for multiple patients on a custom Practice template created with the Orders Management order control. When you create a practice filter, it is available to all users in your practice. To create a practice filter, you must have permission for Allow Updating Practice Filters set in System Administrator > Enterprise Practice > Enterprise Practice > Security Group > Rights > Operations > Orders. To create a private filter, the Allow Providers to Maintain Favorites practice preference must be selected in File Maintenance > Practices Preferences > Orders Module > Lab/Rad.
