Request Patient Health Records

When you turn on the On Demand Health Record feature, patients using NextGen® PxP Portal can request CCDs from the Health Record page by selecting the Request updated records link. Open Site Generator, and then select NextGen Healthcare Site Administration. The Site Generator page opens. Under Portal Solutions, select Health Record. The Health Record page opens. You can configure the following on the Health Record page: The footer message that appears on the Health Record page of NextGen® PxP Portal. On demand health data for patients. Aggregate continuity of care document (CCD) email for multiple CCD requests during a time-period. Health Record 2.0 compliance with WCAG Level-2.1 Request Patient Health Records You can enable or disable patients from requesting request health records from NextGen® PxP Portal. View Enhanced Health Record You can turn on Health Record 2.0 for an enhanced view of patient health records that are compliant with WCAG Level-2.1 in NextGen® PxP Portal. Configure an Aggregate CCD Email after Multiple Requests You can send to a patient an aggregate CCD email instead of multiple emails for a time-period in NextGen® PxP Portal. Access Personal Health Records

Patients can download their health related records, such as office visit notes and any attachments that are sent to NextGen® PxP Portal, from the Health Record page. Note: The health records are available to the patient only when the practice sends a clinical visit summary or any attachment to NextGen® PxP Portal. Open NextGen® PxP Portal, and then from the dashboard or the left pane, select Health Records. The Health Record page opens displaying the Visits tab. Health record summary page To view a health record, select the health record from the list. The details of the health record appears. You can view the health record Full Screen mode if necessary. To download a health record, select the check box on the health records, and then select Download. Note: To download all the health records, you can select the Select all check box. Request Personal Health Records

Before you begin Ensure that the Enable On Demand Health Data check box is selected on the Health Records page in Site Generator. Open NextGen® PxP Portal, and then from the dashboard or the left pane, select Health Records. The Health Record page opens displaying the Visits tab. Select Request updated records. Health record summary page The Request updated records page opens. Request updated records page Do one of the following: To request personal health records for a specific time period, enter the start date and end date in Filter by date range. To request a consolidated personal health record, select the Request complete record check box. Select Request. A message appears indicating that the request is being processed by the practice. Select Close.

Viewing Patient Portal Enrollment Status

You can view the NextGen® PxP Portal enrollment status on the Add Person Information and Add Patient Information windows in NextGen® Enterprise EHR and NextGen® Enterprise PM if the practice uses NextGen® PxP Portal. You can select the NextGen® PxP Portal enrollment status icon to open the Patient Portal Enrollment window. View NextGen® PxP Portal Document Histories

The system records when the patient opens the document from the NextGen® PxP Portal website. Look up an enrolled patient and open the patient's record. On the Patient History tab, right-click the document name, and then select Patient Portal History Details. The Patient Portal Document History window opens. Select Close.
