Verify Provider IDs are mapped in Site Generator

Provider ID's are mapped in Site Generator as they enable secure messaging and routing rules for working. Open Site Generator for the practice. Select Medfusion Site Administration. In the Administrator – Setup/Access section, Select Physicians/Providers The Manage Your Physicians window displays. Select Edit Physician for the physician you want to map. The edit window for the physician appears. Select Mappings. The mappings appears for the selected physician. Enter the USER_ID of the provider from the USER_MSTR Table in MedfusionREST – NextGen (Primary). Select Map Value to map the provider with the NextGen® PxP Portal user. You can confirm that the staff IDs are mapped in Site Generator to enable secured messaging and routing rules to work. To map the Staff IDs, do the following: Open Site Generator for the practice. Select Medfusion Site Administration. In the Administrator – Setup/Access section, select one of the following. Personnel (Non-Physicians) Personnel (Non-Physicians) > List All Personnel Personnel (Non-Physicians) > List by Location The Manage Your Physicians window appears. Select Edit Personnel to map the desired staff member. Select Mappings, and enter the Unique_ID in MedfusionREST – NextGen (Primary). Select Map Value. Continuity of Care Document Issues

The Personal Health Record (PHR) or Continuity of Care Document (CCD) provides information about patient's health or the health of someone the patient is caring for, such as a parent or a child. Patients can view their personal health information by clicking the Health Record section on the NextGen® PxP Portal home page. The Clinical summaries tab displays the details of the most recent clinical summary by default. You can encounter issues such as patient not receiving CCD in NextGen® Enterprise EHR and NextGen® Enterprise PM. You can use the information in this section to address CCD issues and find solutions. Verify External locations are mapped in site generator

You need to verify that the external locations are mapped in Site Generator. This is useful when patient messages are not received in NextGen® Enterprise EHR and NextGen® Enterprise PM. Open Site Generator for the practice. Select Medfusion Site Administration. Under the Portal Solutions section, select Interface Setup. The Interface Administration window for the selected practice appears. On the Interface Administartion window, select External Location Ids. Confirm if valid ID's exist under External Identifier. Add Users

In the left pane of System Administrator, select the group that you want to assign the new user to. Right-click the group, and select New User. The General tab displays boxes to enter the user details. Enter the last name, first name, and middle name of the user. In the Privacy Level field, enter a number (for example, 0, 1, or 2) to indicate the level of access to patient records. Enter the user's employee number, which can be any user-defined number. Enter the user's credentials, such as MD. Use this field if your practice has users with credentials who are not providers. NextGen® Enterprise documents and reports can display the credentials.
