Update Profiles, Preferences, and Security Details in NextGen® PxP Portal
Patients can update their preferred language, profile information, security details, and can set up several preferences in NextGen® PxP Portal.
On the NextGen® PxP Portal home page, select Account, and then select Edit.
The My Account page opens.
To update demographic information, select the Profile tab, make the necessary changes, and then select Save my changes.
Note: When you update your mobile phone number, you must verify the updated number using the one-time password sent for multi-factor authentication. If you do not want to receive an MFA verification code to your mobile number, you can select I don't have a Mobile Phone in Contact Information.
To update security details, select the Security tab, select Change corresponding to the information you want to update, and then select Save my changes.
To set up preferences, select the Preferences tab, update your preferences, and then select Save my changes.
Note:
By default, the preferred pharmacy is the one selected during patient account creation in NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
If you update the preferred pharmacy on the My Account page, the updated pharmacy appears on the Rx Request page and in NextGen® Enterprise EHR and NextGen® Enterprise PM.
To disconnect and manage connected applications, select the Shared Connections tab, and then select Unlink.
