Update Health Data in NextGen® Enterprise EHR

You can verify the patients' online health forms that are completed and submitted through NextGen® PxP Portal and NextGen® Patient Engage and then update the data in NextGen® Enterprise EHR.

Important: Comments reviewed in PxP Portal Integration Tool are not automatically updated to NextGen® Enterprise EHR. You must add the comments manually to the patient's chart.

In PxP Portal Integration Tool, select ReviewQ, .
The ReviewQ page opens displaying the updated patient records.
To search for an update record, enter one or more of the search criteria, and then select Search.
The updated records appear.
In the Update Type column, select Health Data for the record you want to review.
The Health Data tab opens displaying the health data updates for the selected patient. You can also select Insurance or Demographics tab to view the respective updates.

Important: The categories of updated patient information that appear on the Health Data page depend on the Site Generator configuration that specifies the number of pages a patient fills in the online health form. For more information on configuring Site Generator, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community and download the latest User Guide for NextGen® PxP Portal Site Generator.
Under Referring Provider, verify the provider information in EHR Data and Platform Data and do the following:
1. To map the patient-entered information to a provider in NextGen® Enterprise EHR, in the Platform Data section, select Map.
  The Map Provider column appears, listing the matching provider options in NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
2. Select a provider.
  
  Tip: You can also search for the provider using the search fields under Map Provider.
  
  PxP Portal Integration Tool maps the referring provider information.
3. Select Accept.
  PxP Portal Integration Tool Integration Tool saves and reconciles the updated referring provider information to NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
Note: Similarly, you can review, map, and reconcile the Platform Data updates for other categories, such as pharmacy, allergies, immunization, symptoms and medication.
In the patient history sections, review the patient's updates and select Accept.

PxP Portal Integration Tool saves and updates the medical history information in NextGen® Enterprise EHR.
When you verify and accept all the changes in Health Data tab, the next tab with pending updates opens by default and the Health Data tab is turned off.
In the Comments section, do the following:
1. Review the patient updates.
2. Add the comments to the patient's chart in NextGen® Enterprise EHR.

3. Select Reviewed.
4. Select Yes at the message confirmation.
  The comments are deleted from the tab.

When you review and accept all the changes on Health Data tab, the next tab with pending updates opens automatically and the Health Data tab is disabled.

Update Health Data in NextGen® Enterprise EHR
