Set Up Patient Statement Delivery

You can set electronic statements to be sent to patients through NextGen® PxP Portal. Open Site Generator, and then select NextGen Healthcare Site Administration. The Site Generator page opens. Search for and select your practice. From Administrator - Setup/Access, select Online Solutions > Edit Your Online Solutions.The Manage Your Online Solutions page opens. Select the Activate Solution checkbox next to Online Bill Pay, and then select Confirm Your Changes.The Online Bill Pay option appears on the Site Generator home page under Portal Solutions. From Portal Solutions, select Online Bill Pay > eStatements.The eStatement Configuration page opens. To enable electronic statements for patients, select Enable Statement Delivery. Make changes in Statement Delivery Configuration, and then select Submit. Pay Bills from NextGen® PxP Portal

Before you begin Ensure that the Online Bill Pay solution is enabled in Site Generator. For more information, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community, and download the latest User Guide for Site Generator Patients can view a pending balance, store payment methods, view statements (when enabled), and view their payment history for transactions submitted through NextGen® Office Patient Portal, PayNow, NextGen® Patient Engage, and NextGen Virtual Visits™ (as applicable by practice). To pay online, NextGen® Pay provides patients with many options that work together with your clinical portal solutions. NextGen® Pay has the following features for payment: Merchant Account enables the overall processing of payment transactions based on practice, location, or provider accounts at the time of configuration. Online Bill Pay enables patients to set up a portal account and pay bills from within the patient portal using any device. PayNow enables payments without logging on, either from the portal landing page or through a link on your practice website, where patients can quickly pay their bills without logging on to their portal account. eStatements (if applicable) reduces billing costs by displaying eStatements to the patient in all NextGen® Enterprise payment UI (user interface) workflows. Paying Bills Without NextGen PXP Login

Practices have multiple ways of enabling patients access to guest pay, including: Selecting Pay a bill in NextGen® PxP Portal. Adding Pay a Bill button on the practice's website. Pay a bill button When the patient select Pay Bills, the PayNow page opens. Patients can access the PayNow page using one of the following: Account number and date of birth. NextGen® PxP Portal Integration Tool Requirements for NextGen Pay powered by InstaMed Agents

You can view the agents relevant to the payment solution under Payments in the Solutions tab on PxP Portal Integration Tool. You can search for the agents on the Agent Configuration tab to view the agent configuration. These agents must be running for the NextGen® Pay and Statement solutions to integrate with NextGen® Enterprise PM.
