Permission Setup Workflow: Site Generator to PxP Portal Integration
Adding Information in Site Generator People like Locations, Physicians/Providers, and non-physician personnel are added to the Site Generator. Mapping Information The added Locations, Physicians/Providers, and personnel are linked or mapped within the Site Generator. Creating Ask A Staff Labels Special labels called Ask A Staff are generated. Setting up User Permissions Users are configured with specific permissions, like Enable/Accept, in order to make them available for selection when patients want to send messages on the portal. Integration Tool Rules In the Integration Tool, rules are established to decide where and to whom messages should be sent. This is based on the location and person the patient chose on the portal. Associating Locations to Physicians/Providers and Personnel
After the online solutions are associated with the configured personnel types, click Manage Locations For Users tab to associate locations to users. On the Manage Solutions by Personnel Type page, the Manage Locations For Users tab enables you to: Filter by personnel types Filter by locations Filter by users Associate the location to the individual user (depends on the location of their work and the facilities they are responsible for and so on). Examples of Appointment Request Logic
In Site Generator for Appointment Request though 'Accept' combination is present, the patient can not neglect location and provider selection. The UI is designed to see location map with providers to select. Note: The Appointment Request solution cannot be manipulated to not require a location and provider combination. Locations accepted for the appointment requests configured in Site Generator require that location to be assigned to the practice in NextGen File Maintenance. Appointment Request To assign location to the practice in NextGen File Maintenance, do the following: Log on to NextGen File Maintenance. Under the Master Files list, click System. Prescription request does not provide an option to granularly control what locations show for a designated provider in dropdown menus. Prescription request solution uses the user’s locations assigned in Manage Locations for Users to determine how to show provider in dropdown menus when the provider is configured to accept refills in Manage Solutions for Users. Site Generator setup when one provider is configured for a location and the provider accepts prescription renewals. Manage Locations for Physicians Patient view for Rx Request in NextGen® PxP Portal - If the location selected by patient only has one provider associated, in NextGen® PxP Portal patient is not required to choose provider after the location selection but the provider selected is shown in the confirmation screen. Add Physicians and Providers
Open Site Generator, and then select NextGen Healthcare Site Administration. The Site Generator page opens. From Administrator - Setup/Access, select Physician/Providers > Add Physician. The Add Physician page opens. Enter values in the Personal Information, Permissions and Porxy Information, and Login Information areas. Select Add Physician.
