Practice Configuration Options

You can configure the following practice-level options: Configuration Description RSDK API Sets the NextGen® PxP Portal username and password for a practice. The NextGen® PxP Portal RSDK API authentication details are derived from Site Generator. Default Config Selects the default location and provider for the patient forms when location and provider are not received from NextGen® PxP Portal. Appointment Request Sets the preference for creating appointments for a practice. EPM enables the creation of appointments in NextGen® Enterprise EHR from staff approved requests. NON-EPM enables the manual creation of appointments. Patient Invites Configures automatic enrollment invitation for patients in a practice. Other Configuration Sets a default user for the Continuity of Care Documents (CCDs) posted to NextGen® PxP Portal and the retry interval for failed secure messages. Configure Days for Enrollment Re-invitation

To avoid sending multiple invitations to patients for enrolling with NextGen® PxP Portal within a specified time, you can configure the days within which no manual invites can be sent by providers from NextGen® Enterprise EHR and NextGen® Enterprise PM. Note: Automatic patient invites are sent when demographic updates are made to the patient accounts irrespective of the configured days. In PxP Portal Integration Tool, select Practice Config Practice Config icon in the left pane. The Practice Config page opens. Select the Practice Configuration tab. In the Patient Invites section, to enable multiple invitations to patients for enrolling with NextGen® PxP Portal, turn on Allow Duplicate Patient Invites. Allow Duplicate Patient Invites setting Enter the number of days within which no invitation can be sent to patients in Days before re-invite is allowed for a Patient. Select Save. Configure Time for Automatic Invitations to Patients

In PxP Portal Integration Tool, select Practice Config Practice Config icon in the left pane. The Practice Config page opens. Select the Practice Configuration tab. In the Patient Invites section, to enable automatic invitations to patients for enrolling with NextGen® PxP Portal, turn on Auto Invite Schedule. Auto Invite Schedule section Enter the time interval for sending automatic invitations to patients for enrollment with NextGen® PxP Portal in Scheduled Time From and Scheduled Time To. Select Save. Configure Automatic Invitations for NextGen® PxP Portal

You can restrict sending automatic invitation for enrolling in NextGen® PxP Portal to patients of specific locations and specific age range. In PxP Portal Integration Tool, select Practice Config Practice Config icon. The Practice Config page opens. In the Patient Invites section, turn on Enable Auto Invites for Patients. Patient Invites section Turn on Enable Age Filter. Enter the age range for restricting automatic invitations in Age From and Age To. You can also use the slider to select the age range. To select states to implement age restriction, enter the name of the state in Select State for Age Range. You can enter the state name or select the state from the list. To implement age restriction for all states, select ALL. To enable location filter for automatic invitations, turn on Enable Location Filter. Configure Automatic Acceptance of Patient Demographics

You can configure ReviewQ to automatically update the following demographic updates of patients from NextGen® Patient Engage and NextGen® PxP Portal in NextGen® Enterprise EHR without appearing on the ReviewQ. Name Information Personal Information Contact Information Emergency Contact Information In PxP Portal Integration Tool, select Practice Config Practice Config icon. The Practice Config page opens. Select the ReviewQ Configuration tab. ReviewQ Configuration tab enables you to automatically accept demographic updates from patients on the PxP platform Turn on Auto Accept Demographics. Agents for Patient Portal

You can view the agents relevant to the Patient Portal solution under Patient Portal on the Solutions tab. You can also search for and view the configuration of agents associated with Patient Portalon the Agent Configuration tab. Agent Name Description Patient Invite Sends patient invites to NextGen® PxP Portal. Other Processing Status Gets the status of messages sent to NextGen® PxP Portal and updates it in the practice system. Patient Updates Gets patient registration and demographic updates from NextGen® PxP Portal and updates them in NextGen® Enterprise PM. Inbound Messaging Gets patient-initiated messages from NextGen® PxP Portal and sends them to the practice. Outbound Messaging Gets practice-initiated messages and sends them to NextGen® PxP Portal. Read Receipt Gets the time and date when the message was read in NextGen® PxP Portal and sends it to the practice. Unread Message Notification Sends an unread message notification to the practice for messages for which a read message
