Add a Practice Location

Open Site Generator, and then select NextGen Healthcare Site Administration. The Site Generator page opens. From Administrator - Setup/Access, select Locations > Add Location. The Add a Location page opens. Enter values in the Physical Location Information fields and select Add Location. Note: When you select the Enable this location checkbox under Location Properties, the practice is displayed in NextGen® PxP Portal. Set Up a Default Location for Patients to Register

Patients must choose a default location only from the specified practice locations list. Open Site Generator, and then select NextGen Healthcare Site Administration. The Site Generator page opens. From Administrator - Setup/Access, select Locations > Default Registration Location.The Default Registration Location page opens and displays location options. Import Locations

You can import locations from an existing list in a comma-separated values (CSV) list. You can also create a list for the locations in the default format and then import that list. Open Site Generator, and then select NextGen Healthcare Site Administration. The Site Generator page opens. From Administrator - Setup/Access, select Locations > Import Locations. The Import Locations page opens. Select Generate CSV Header Template. A CSV template with headers is created. Enter the location details in the CSV template and select Choose File to select this .csv template. Select Import Locations. Manage Locations

You can update and manage location-specific information for a practice, such as the address, name, and website. Open Site Generator, and then select NextGen Healthcare Site Administration. The Site Generator page opens. From Administrator - Setup/Access, select Locations. The Manage Your Locations page opens and displays the practice locations. To edit a location or user permission, select Edit Location or Edit User Permissions, respectively, and then enter values in the fields. Note: When you select a checkbox, the practice displays the practice is displayed in NextGen® PxP Portal. To save changes to these selections, select Enable/Disable Location. Modify Physician Information

You can update the personal information of providers and physicians. Open Site Generator, and then select NextGen Healthcare Site Administration. The Site Generator page opens. In the Administrator - Setup/Access section, select one of the following: Physicians/Providers. Physicians/Providers > List All Physicians by Location. The Manage Your Physicians page opens. To change the Physicians/Providers to Personnel (Non-Physicians) type, do the following: Select the checkbox corresponding to the physician you want change the type, and select Convert To Non-Physicians. On the Edit Physician page, provide all the required information, and select Update Physician. The selected physician now appears in the Personnel (Non-Physicians) type. To activate or deactivate a physician, select a physician and then select the Activate or Deactivate buttons. Edit physician information, proxies and permissions, and logon information as needed. Add Personnel Types and Manage Permissions

You can set up permissions for the personnel type. You can also remove any unused personnel type. Open Site Generator, and then select NextGen Healthcare Site Administration. The Site Generator page opens. From Administrator - Setup/Access, select Permissions and Personnel Types. The Manage Your Group Personnel Types page opens. In the Add A Personnel Type area, select a personnel type from the list, and then select Add Personnel Type. The Manage Solutions For Personnel Types tab of the Manage Solutions by Personnel Type page opens. Select options from the personnel type and solutions list. A table appears and displays the selected personnel type and solution. Select the checkbox in the table to add the personnel type to the Manage Your Group Personnel Types page.
