View and Update information for Active and Inactive Physicians

You can view and update an active or inactive physician's information for a particular location. You can also manage permissions, proxies, and logon information for physicians. Open Site Generator, and then select NextGen Healthcare Site Administration. The Site Generator page opens. From Administrator - Setup/Access, select Physicians/Providers > List All Physicians. The Manage Your Physicians page opens and lists the active and inactive physicians. Select List All Physicians by Location to view the list of all physicians in their respective locations. Modify physician information as needed by using Reorder Physicians, Edit Physician, Manage Proxies, User Grid, or Login Info. Add Physicians and Providers

Open Site Generator, and then select NextGen Healthcare Site Administration. The Site Generator page opens. From Administrator - Setup/Access, select Physician/Providers > Add Physician. The Add Physician page opens. Enter values in the Personal Information, Permissions and Porxy Information, and Login Information areas. Select Add Physician. Edit Personnel Information

Open Site Generator, and then select NextGen Healthcare Site Administration. The Site Generator page opens. Under Administrator - Setup/Access, select one of the following: Personnel (Non-Physicians) Personnel (Non-Physicians) > List All Personnel Personnel (Non-Physicians) > List by Location The Manage Your Personnel page opens. Note: If you select List by Location, you must select a location from the Choose location list to open the personnel list. To change the Personnel (Non-Physicians) to Physicians/Providers type, do the following: Select the check box corresponding to the personnel you want change the type, and select Convert To Physicians. On the Manage Your Personnel Information page, provide all the required information, and select Update Personnel. The selected personnel now appears in the Physicians/Providers type. Manage Locations

You can update and manage location-specific information for a practice, such as the address, name, and website. Open Site Generator, and then select NextGen Healthcare Site Administration. The Site Generator page opens. From Administrator - Setup/Access, select Locations. The Manage Your Locations page opens and displays the practice locations. To edit a location or user permission, select Edit Location or Edit User Permissions, respectively, and then enter values in the fields. Note: When you select a checkbox, the practice displays the practice is displayed in NextGen® PxP Portal. To save changes to these selections, select Enable/Disable Location. Manage User Locations

You can manage and update the location for a physician. Open Site Generator, and then select NextGen Healthcare Site Administration. The Site Generator page opens. From Administrator - Setup/Access, select Locations > User Locations. The Manage Locations for Users tab of the Manage Locations for Physicians window opens. Select the personnel type, location, and users from the respective filters. A table displays a list of personnel types for the selected location. The personnel list for the selected location appears. To add personnel for the selected practice, select Add New Personnel. To modify personnel details or permissions, select Edit Personnel or Manage Permissions respectively. To update logon information, select Login Info. The Manage Your Personnel Information page opens.
