NextGen Healthcare Site Administration
.
The
Site Generator
page opens.
Under
Administrator - Setup/Access
, select one of the following:
Personnel (Non-Physicians)
Personnel (Non-Physicians)

List All Personnel
Personnel (Non-Physicians)
>
List by Location
The
Manage Your Personnel
page opens.
Note:
If you select
List by Location
, you must select a location from the
Choose location
list to open the personnel list.
To change the
Personnel (Non-Physicians)
to
Physicians/Providers
type, do the following:
Select the check box corresponding to the personnel you want change the type, and select
Convert To Physicians
.
On the
Manage Your Personnel Information
page, provide all the required information, and select
Update Personnel
.
The selected personnel now appears in the
Physicians/Providers
type.
To make a personnel inactive, select the respective checkbox in the
Active Personnel
section, and then select
Deactivate Personnel
.
To make a personnel active, select the respective checkbox in the
Inactive Personnel
section, and select
Activate Personnel
.
To search for personnel, enter the name in the search field, and select
Search
.
To update information about a personnel, select
Edit Personnel
next to the specific personnel.
The
Edit Personnel
tab of the
Manage Your Personnel Information
page opens where you can modify the the following information.

Manage Active and Inactive Personnel
You can view and update the personnel information for a particular location. You can also manage the proxies, permissions, and logon information for the personnel. Open Site Generator, and then select NextGen Healthcare Site Administration. The Site Generator page opens. From Administrator - Setup/Access, select Personnel (Non Physicians) > List All Personnel. The Manage Your Personnel page opens. To list the personnel based on their location, select List All Personnel by Location, and select a location from the list. The personnel list for the selected location appears. To add personnel for the selected practice, select Add New Personnel. To modify personnel details or permissions, select Edit Personnel or Manage Permissions respectively. To update logon information, select Login Info. The Manage Your Personnel Information page opens. Note: You can edit your logon information and remove a saved password on the Login info tab. You cannot set up proxies and permissions for inactive user

Add Users to the NextGen® PxP Portal
Open Site Generator, and then select NextGen Healthcare Site Administration. The Site Generator page opens. From Administrator - Setup/Access, select Personnel (Non Physicians) > Add Personnel. The Add Personnel page opens. Under Personal Information, enter details for the personnel. Under Permissions and Proxy Information, select Copy Initial Permissions From and Copy Proxies with Permissions. Under Login Information, enter user ID and password you want to create for yourself. Modify Physician Information
You can update the personal information of providers and physicians. Open Site Generator, and then select NextGen Healthcare Site Administration. The Site Generator page opens. In the Administrator - Setup/Access section, select one of the following: Physicians/Providers. Physicians/Providers > List All Physicians by Location. The Manage Your Physicians page opens. To change the Physicians/Providers to Personnel (Non-Physicians) type, do the following: Select the checkbox corresponding to the physician you want change the type, and select Convert To Non-Physicians. On the Edit Physician page, provide all the required information, and select Update Physician. The selected physician now appears in the Personnel (Non-Physicians) type. To activate or deactivate a physician, select a physician and then select the Activate or Deactivate buttons. Edit physician information, proxies and permissions, and logon information as needed. Import Personnel and Physicians
You can import details for one or more personnel or physicians when you update the list of practice staff. Open Site Generator, and then select NextGen Healthcare Site Administration. The Site Generator page opens. From Administrator - Setup/Access, select Personnel (Non Physicians) > Import Personnel and Physicians. The Import Personnel and Physicians page opens. Select Generate CSV Header Template to download the header template. Enter a list of personnel or physicians. Note: To avoid errors while importing, ensure that the information you are entering is in the correct format and order. Select Choose File to choose the updated header template and then select Import Staff. The list of personnel and physicians is imported. Export Personnel Details
Open Site Generator, and then select NextGen Healthcare Site Administration. The Site Generator page opens. From Administrator - Setup/Access, select Personnel (Non Physicians) > Export Personnel. The Export Personnel page opens displaying the list of exported staff. Select Export Staff. The Import/Export Staff Progress page appears and displays the export status. Manage Locations
You can update and manage location-specific information for a practice, such as the address, name, and website. Open Site Generator, and then select NextGen Healthcare Site Administration. The Site Generator page opens. From Administrator - Setup/Access, select Locations. The Manage Your Locations page opens and displays the practice locations. To edit a location or user permission, select Edit Location or Edit User Permissions, respectively, and then enter values in the fields. Note: When you select a checkbox, the practice displays the practice is displayed in NextGen® PxP Portal. To save changes to these selections, select Enable/Disable Location.
