Add a Practice Location

Open Site Generator, and then select NextGen Healthcare Site Administration. The Site Generator page opens. From Administrator - Setup/Access, select Locations > Add Location. The Add a Location page opens. Enter values in the Physical Location Information fields and select Add Location. Note: When you select the Enable this location checkbox under Location Properties, the practice is displayed in NextGen® PxP Portal. Set Up a Default Location for Patients to Register

Patients must choose a default location only from the specified practice locations list. Open Site Generator, and then select NextGen Healthcare Site Administration. The Site Generator page opens. From Administrator - Setup/Access, select Locations > Default Registration Location.The Default Registration Location page opens and displays location options. Manage User Locations

You can manage and update the location for a physician. Open Site Generator, and then select NextGen Healthcare Site Administration. The Site Generator page opens. From Administrator - Setup/Access, select Locations > User Locations. The Manage Locations for Users tab of the Manage Locations for Physicians window opens. Select the personnel type, location, and users from the respective filters. A table displays a list of personnel types for the selected location. Note: If no users appear for the selected personnel type, you can add users by selecting Add Personnel For This Type. Parent topic: Manage Locations

You can update and manage location-specific information for a practice, such as the address, name, and website. Open Site Generator, and then select NextGen Healthcare Site Administration. The Site Generator page opens. From Administrator - Setup/Access, select Locations. The Manage Your Locations page opens and displays the practice locations. To edit a location or user permission, select Edit Location or Edit User Permissions, respectively, and then enter values in the fields. Note: When you select a checkbox, the practice displays the practice is displayed in NextGen® PxP Portal. To save changes to these selections, select Enable/Disable Location. Import Personnel and Physicians

You can import details for one or more personnel or physicians when you update the list of practice staff. Open Site Generator, and then select NextGen Healthcare Site Administration. The Site Generator page opens. From Administrator - Setup/Access, select Personnel (Non Physicians) > Import Personnel and Physicians. The Import Personnel and Physicians page opens. Select Generate CSV Header Template to download the header template. Enter a list of personnel or physicians. Note: To avoid errors while importing, ensure that the information you are entering is in the correct format and order. Select Choose File to choose the updated header template and then select Import Staff. The list of personnel and physicians is imported. Import or Export a List of Pharmacies

Open Site Generator, and then select NextGen Healthcare Site Administration. The Site Generator page opens. From Portal Solutions, select Pharmacies. The Manage Your Pharmacies page opens. To import a list, under Import Pharmacies, select Choose File to select the pharmacy list file, and then select Import Pharmacies. The imported file appears in Last 10 Pharmacies Import List. To export a list, do the following: Under Export Pharmacies, select Export Pharmacies. On the Import/Export Progress page, select Download exported file. The exported file opens in Microsoft Excel®.
