Manage User Locations
You can manage and update the location for a physician. Open Site Generator, and then select NextGen Healthcare Site Administration. The Site Generator page opens. From Administrator - Setup/Access, select Locations > User Locations. The Manage Locations for Users tab of the Manage Locations for Physicians window opens. Select the personnel type, location, and users from the respective filters. A table displays a list of personnel types for the selected location. Note: If no users appear for the selected personnel type, you can add users by selecting Add Personnel For This Type. Parent topic: Manage Locations

Set Up a Default Location for Patients to Register
Patients must choose a default location only from the specified practice locations list. Open Site Generator, and then select NextGen Healthcare Site Administration. The Site Generator page opens. From Administrator - Setup/Access, select Locations > Default Registration Location.The Default Registration Location page opens and displays location options. Import Locations
You can import locations from an existing list in a comma-separated values (CSV) list. You can also create a list for the locations in the default format and then import that list. Open Site Generator, and then select NextGen Healthcare Site Administration. The Site Generator page opens. From Administrator - Setup/Access, select Locations > Import Locations. The Import Locations page opens. Select Generate CSV Header Template. A CSV template with headers is created. Enter the location details in the CSV template and select Choose File to select this .csv template. Select Import Locations. Manage Locations
You can update and manage location-specific information for a practice, such as the address, name, and website. Open Site Generator, and then select NextGen Healthcare Site Administration. The Site Generator page opens. From Administrator - Setup/Access, select Locations. The Manage Your Locations page opens and displays the practice locations. To edit a location or user permission, select Edit Location or Edit User Permissions, respectively, and then enter values in the fields. Note: When you select a checkbox, the practice displays the practice is displayed in NextGen® PxP Portal. To save changes to these selections, select Enable/Disable Location. Add Physicians and Providers
Open Site Generator, and then select NextGen Healthcare Site Administration. The Site Generator page opens. From Administrator - Setup/Access, select Physician/Providers > Add Physician. The Add Physician page opens. Enter values in the Personal Information, Permissions and Porxy Information, and Login Information areas. Select Add Physician. Add Users to the NextGen® PxP Portal
Open Site Generator, and then select NextGen Healthcare Site Administration. The Site Generator page opens. From Administrator - Setup/Access, select Personnel (Non Physicians) > Add Personnel. The Add Personnel page opens. Under Personal Information, enter details for the personnel. Under Permissions and Proxy Information, select Copy Initial Permissions From and Copy Proxies with Permissions. Under Login Information, enter user ID and password you want to create for yourself.
