Associating Locations to Physicians/Providers and Personnel

After the online solutions are associated with the configured personnel types, click Manage Locations For Users tab to associate locations to users. On the Manage Solutions by Personnel Type page, the Manage Locations For Users tab enables you to: Filter by personnel types Filter by locations Filter by users Associate the location to the individual user (depends on the location of their work and the facilities they are responsible for and so on). Manage User Locations

You can manage and update the location for a physician. Open Site Generator, and then select NextGen Healthcare Site Administration. The Site Generator page opens. From Administrator - Setup/Access, select Locations > User Locations. The Manage Locations for Users tab of the Manage Locations for Physicians window opens. Select the personnel type, location, and users from the respective filters. A table displays a list of personnel types for the selected location. Note: If no users appear for the selected personnel type, you can add users by selecting Add Personnel For This Type. Parent topic: Manage Locations

If multiple users and multiple locations are enabled for Ask a Staff question in Site Generator, then multi-location and multiple provider dropdown menus are reflected when the patient selects the question in NextGen® PxP Portal. Manage Locations

You can update and manage location-specific information for a practice, such as the address, name, and website. Open Site Generator, and then select NextGen Healthcare Site Administration. The Site Generator page opens. From Administrator - Setup/Access, select Locations. The Manage Your Locations page opens and displays the practice locations. To edit a location or user permission, select Edit Location or Edit User Permissions, respectively, and then enter values in the fields. Note: When you select a checkbox, the practice displays the practice is displayed in NextGen® PxP Portal. To save changes to these selections, select Enable/Disable Location. Ask a Provider Setup from Site Generator

Scenario Example 2: Practice would like to have a Ask a Provider Question in NextGen® PxP Portal. Each provider is configured at separate locations, some may be at more than one location but they have a designated workgroup configured for provider to receive the message for each provider chosen. The workgroups will be the same regardless of which locations is chosen. How to assign Ask a Provider question to physicians personnel type? Log on to Site Generator. From Administrator - Setup/Access, click Permissions and Personnel Types and then click Manage Permissions.
