While viewing the schedule, you can review and select the appropriate co-pay and additional charges for the appointment based on the patient's insurance eligibility. You can also view notes and staff review information from the Schedule view.
 
  If your practice is using the Additional Visit Charge functionality, the Appt. Charge column indicates the total visit payment charged to the patient. Otherwise, the Appt. Charge column displays only the patient's co-pay. The Prior Balance column displays the current outstanding patient balance.
  You can use the Note field to add important updates or information related to the appointment for future reference.
  You can view the following appointment statuses in Staff Review:
  
   - Needs Review: The tasks related to the patient's appointments need your review or action.
- Pending Arrival: Pre-visit tasks are complete, notes have been added, and the patient has not yet arrived.
- Arrived: The patient has arrived, and the remaining pending tasks need to be completed before the appointment.
- Ready: All pre-visit tasks are completed, and the patient is ready for the appointment. After this status update, you cannot change the status again.
 After you update the 
Staff Review status to 
Ready, an encounter can be automatically created for the corresponding appointment in 
NextGen® Enterprise EHR. To request this automatic encounter creation to occur after the status is set to 
Ready, your practice team must contact Luma Support.
