Add Personnel Type and Manage Permissions
You can set up permissions and solutions for the Personnel Type. You can also remove any unused Personnel Type.
The Site Generator home page opens.
Open
Site Generator

select NextGen Healthcare Site Administration

Permissions and Personnel Type
.
The
Manage Your Group Personnel Types
page opens.
Under
Add a Personnel Type
, select
personnel type
from the list.
To add the
personnel type

Add Personnel Type
.
The
Manage Solutions by Personnel Type
page opens.
Select option for the personnel type and solution from the drop down list.
To discard the
Personnel type
, select
Remove Personnel Type
.
To make the personnel type public, from the
Administrative Support
list, select
Public
.
Select
All
to enable all the solutions for the selected personnel type, else select only required solutions.
Select
Return to Manage Personnel Types
.
The
Personnel Type
adds to the list with the provided permissions.
To update the solutions, select
Manage Solutions
and follow the same procedure as for adding the
Personnel Type
.
To manage the permissions, select
Manage Permissions
.
The
Manage Solutions for Users tab
opens by default, on the
Manage User Permissions
page.
Select options from the list for the personnel types, solutions, locations, and users.

Managing Permissions and Personnel Types
You can add Personnel Type and manage permissions and solutions for Personnel (Non-Physicians) and Physicians/Providers. After you set up the permissions, only those personnel who qualify the permission criteria, can enter your website. To add a Personnel Type that is not available in the list, contact NextGen® PxP Portal Integration team. Add Personnel Types and Manage Permissions
You can set up permissions for the personnel type. You can also remove any unused personnel type. Open Site Generator, and then select NextGen Healthcare Site Administration. The Site Generator page opens. From Administrator - Setup/Access, select Permissions and Personnel Types. The Manage Your Group Personnel Types page opens. In the Add A Personnel Type area, select a personnel type from the list, and then select Add Personnel Type. The Manage Solutions For Personnel Types tab of the Manage Solutions by Personnel Type page opens. Select options from the personnel type and solutions list. A table appears and displays the selected personnel type and solution. Select the checkbox in the table to add the personnel type to the Manage Your Group Personnel Types page. To modify solutions or permissions, select Manage Solutions or Manage Permissions. The Manage Solutions for Users tab of the Manage User Permissions page opens. Manage Active and Inactive Personnel
You can view and update the personnel information for a particular location. You can also manage the proxies, permissions, and logon information for the personnel. Open Site Generator, and then select NextGen Healthcare Site Administration. The Site Generator page opens. From Administrator - Setup/Access, select Personnel (Non Physicians) > List All Personnel. The Manage Your Personnel page opens. To list the personnel based on their location, select List All Personnel by Location, and select a location from the list. The personnel list for the selected location appears. To add personnel for the selected practice, select Add New Personnel. To modify personnel details or permissions, select Edit Personnel or Manage Permissions respectively. To update logon information, select Login Info. The Manage Your Personnel Information page opens. Note: You can edit your logon information and remove a saved password on the Login info tab. You cannot set up proxies and permissions for inactive user

View Permission Reports
You can view a comprehensive report of all the active solutions, along with the associated staff rights and permissions, from the Permission Report page. You can also generate the report for different locations. Open Site Generator, and then select NextGen Healthcare Site Administration. The Site Generator page opens. From Administrator - Setup/Access, select Permissions and Personnel Type > Permission Report. The Permission Report page opens. Select from the Please Select Integration and Solutions lists. Manage User Locations
You can manage and update the location for a physician. Open Site Generator, and then select NextGen Healthcare Site Administration. The Site Generator page opens. From Administrator - Setup/Access, select Locations > User Locations. The Manage Locations for Users tab of the Manage Locations for Physicians window opens. Select the personnel type, location, and users from the respective filters. A table displays a list of personnel types for the selected location. Note: If no users appear for the selected personnel type, you can add users by selecting Add Personnel For This Type. Parent topic: Manage Locations

Edit Personnel Information
Open Site Generator, and then select NextGen Healthcare Site Administration. The Site Generator page opens. Under Administrator - Setup/Access, select one of the following: Personnel (Non-Physicians) Personnel (Non-Physicians) > List All Personnel Personnel (Non-Physicians) > List by Location The Manage Your Personnel page opens. Note: If you select List by Location, you must select a location from the Choose location list to open the personnel list. To change the Personnel (Non-Physicians) to Physicians/Providers type, do the following: Select the check box corresponding to the personnel you want change the type, and select Convert To Physicians. On the Manage Your Personnel Information page, provide all the required information, and select Update Personnel. The selected personnel now appears in the Physicians/Providers type. To make a personnel inactive, select the respective checkbox in the Active Personnel section, and then select Deactivate Personnel. To make a personnel active, s
