Associating Locations to Physicians/Providers and Personnel

After the online solutions are associated with the configured personnel types, click Manage Locations For Users tab to associate locations to users. On the Manage Solutions by Personnel Type page, the Manage Locations For Users tab enables you to: Filter by personnel types Filter by locations Filter by users Associate the location to the individual user (depends on the location of their work and the facilities they are responsible for and so on). Associating Personnel Types to Online Solutions

After the completion of the prerequisites, you can associate the personnel types to the activated online solutions. Note: This excludes association of individual permission to the online solutions. From the Administrator - Setup/Access section, click Permissions and Personnel Types and then click Manage Solutions to open Manage Solutions by Personnel Types page. Permission Setup Workflow: Site Generator to PxP Portal Integration

Adding Information in Site Generator People like Locations, Physicians/Providers, and non-physician personnel are added to the Site Generator. Mapping Information The added Locations, Physicians/Providers, and personnel are linked or mapped within the Site Generator. Creating Ask A Staff Labels Special labels called Ask A Staff are generated. Setting up User Permissions Users are configured with specific permissions, like Enable/Accept, in order to make them available for selection when patients want to send messages on the portal. Integration Tool Rules In the Integration Tool, rules are established to decide where and to whom messages should be sent. This is based on the location and person the patient chose on the portal. Managing Permissions and Personnel Types

You can add personnel types and manage permissions and solutions for Personnel (Non-Physicians) and Physicians/Providers types. After you set up permissions, only personnel who qualify based on the permission criteria can enter your website. To add a a personnel type that is not available in the list, contact the NextGen® PxP Portal Integration team. Add Personnel Types and Manage Permissions You can add and manage the permissions for different personnel types. View Permission Reports You can view a comprehensive report for all the active solutions and locations.

Add Personnel Type and Manage Permissions

You can set up permissions and solutions for the Personnel Type. You can also remove any unused Personnel Type. The Site Generator home page opens. Open Site Generator, and select NextGen Healthcare Site Administration. From Administrator - Setup/Access, select Permissions and Personnel Type.The Manage Your Group Personnel Types page opens. Under Add a Personnel Type, select personnel type from the list. To add the personnel type, select Add Personnel Type.The Manage Solutions by Personnel Type page opens. Select option for the personnel type and solution from the drop down list. To discard the Personnel type, select Remove Personnel Type. To make the personnel type public, from the Administrative Support list, select Public. Select All to enable all the solutions for the selected personnel type, else select only required solutions. Select Return to Manage Personnel Types.The Personnel Type adds to the list with the provided permissions. To update the solutions, select Manage Solutions

Add Users to the NextGen® PxP Portal

Open Site Generator, and then select NextGen Healthcare Site Administration. The Site Generator page opens. From Administrator - Setup/Access, select Personnel (Non Physicians) > Add Personnel. The Add Personnel page opens. Under Personal Information, enter details for the personnel. Under Permissions and Proxy Information, select Copy Initial Permissions From and Copy Proxies with Permissions. Under Login Information, enter user ID and password you want to create for yourself.
