Navigation and Documentation Shortcuts

You can configure certain settings that reduce the number of steps and amount of typing you must do to complete a patient’s documentation. Some of the helpful tools are: Template links that open frequently used templates QuickPicks that save standard template entries Get Data to copy template entries from a previous encounter My Phrases that save frequently-used phrases Quick Add so you can quickly enter data into a series of fields Sub Navigation Links QuickPick Toolbar Quickpick toolbar overview Use Get Data Comments My Phrases You can save phrases in a list for your own use. Complete a Survey

Follow these instructions to complete any survey. Select the Surveys tab. The Navigation picklist opens. Select the survey, and then select OK. The survey template opens. Complete the survey. As you make selections, the Score field sums the answers to give you a score. Select the Done checkbox to enter your name with a date and timestamp. Select Save & Close. Parent topic: Surveys

Health Survey Link

Changes since last visit

To document changes in the patient’s condition since the last visit, select in the Changes since last visit field, and then select a description from the picklist. Picklist Manager

Use the NTS Picklist Manager template to customize picklists in NextGen® Therapy Suite. You can update template-based picklists and database picklists. You can also open the Past Medical History (PMH) setup page from here to configure items that will be selectable from PMH in the Therapy suite. Display of Links and Picklists in NextGen Adaptive Content Engine

If you select a patient, open a specialty with any visit type and expand the left Navigation bar, you see the links added in the Custom Navigation practice template. Note: If you have a patient chart open, when you were editing the information in the templates launched from the navigation bar.
