You can check HIPAA updates using the HIPAA Disclosure Information template. If you select the Allow updates to HIPAA from EHR checkbox, a practice can update the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) disclosure documentation in NextGen® Enterprise EHR from the HIPAA Disclosure Information template. The Surveys tab in the top navigation bar opens a picklist of available outcome studies (surveys). Any survey you use to document patient data appears on the legal medical record for the patient for that encounter.
