Care Guidelines
Below the template links, you may see a Care Guidelines link with a red badge, if it is enabled in your practice’s configuration settings. This link opens the Care Guidelines template. The number in the badge is the number of items that are due or not prescribed. Open the Care Guidelines Template
You can open the Care Guidelines template using the Care Guidelines link. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Select any Specialty and Visit Type. Select the Care Guidelines link on any of the main template. The Care Guidelines template opens. Home Page Parent topic: Care Guidelines Introduction

View Removed (Inactive) Guidelines
You can view removed guideline for a patient on the Care Guideline Setup template. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. On the Care Guidelines Setup template, expand the Define Guideline Reasons & Auto Application panel. Select the Show only Removed/Inactive checkbox to display all guidelines that are removed and are not inactive. Opt Out of Recommended Care
You can choose recommended care options for a patient on the Care Guideline Setup template. If you do not want to follow recommended care items of a certain type that are part of a guideline, you can choose to opt out. When you choose to opt out, the recommended care guideline items never apply. You do not see them displayed on the Care Guidelines Paged View or Care Guidelines grid view templates in runtime, or follow them for a patient If you do not want to see any recommended care in runtime on the Care Guidelines templates, you can select both Opt out of Recommended Care (meds) and Opt out of Recommended Care (non-meds) check coxes, and only orderable tests apply and display. Risk Stratified Levels
