Disable Inbox Status Updates

The Disable Inbox Status Updates check box enables you to configure whether the inbox status for a patient encounter updates as specific events occur in the encounter. The inbox status is updated by default, unless this check box is selected. The following table shows the events on indicated templates that trigger an inbox status change if the update feature is not disabled. Care Guidelines

Below the template links, you may see a Care Guidelines link with a red badge, if it is enabled in your practice’s configuration settings. This link opens the Care Guidelines template. The number in the badge is the number of items that are due or not prescribed. View Care Guidelines

You can view a quick list of the patient's Care Guidelines for due and overdue items. Additionally, you can open the Care Guidelines module to manage Health Maintenance and Disease Management functions, including guideline testing and screening, and recommended care. For more information on Care Guidelines, go to NextGen Healthcare Success Community, and download the Care Guidelines User Guide for NextGen® Adaptive Content Engine. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR, and select a patient from the Patient Lookup window. To view a quick list of the patient's Care Guidelines, on the Quick Buttons panel, hover over Care Guidelines Items Due.The Care Guidelines Items Due table appears displaying the last calculated date and a list of recently ordered Care Guidelines items for the patient that are due and overdue. Configure the Global Settings

You can set up the dashboard template, referral template, and document format in the Global Settings tab. From NextGen Care® Population Management Hub, select settings icon at the bottom-right corner, and then select Global Settings. The Global Settings window opens. Under Dashboard, enter the dashboard template name. Under Referral, referral template name appears. if required, you can modify the referral template name. Under Document, select the document format from the Format list. Select OK. The dashboard template, referral template, and document format are set up.
