Diabetic Foot Exam

Providers can document a diabetic foot exam and a Monofilament exam on the PE Foot Diab Screen template. The Diabetic Foot Exam link is located in the Physical Exam panel on the SOAP template. There are sections for risk assessment, footwear evaluation, and counseling. Parent topic: Diabetes Care

Open the Physical Exam Templates

You can open the physical exam template to document the normal and abnormal physical exam details. Open the SOAP template. In the Physical Exam panel, select a specialty-specific physical exam in the left pane. The physical exam template opens. Document Areas Examined

Open the SOAP - Dermatology template. In the Physical Exam panel, go to the Areas Examined section. Select the check box to add the areas examined findings to the grid in the Physical Exam panel. Parent topic: Physical Exam Panel

Template Links

You can use links to open frequently used templates. Based on the configuration in the Framework Content system template, links appear in the Intake, Histories, SOAP, Finalize, and Checkout tabs. The appearance of these links can vary based on the specialty, visit type, template, tab, and age of the patient. The links can be configured based on the following: Specialty Practice Provider Specialty and practice Specialty and provider These links are associated with a particular tab. You can configure a specific link on various tabs. Sub Navigation Set Up Links You can use the Framework Content system template to configure the links. Patient's Physical Exam

You can examine a patient and document the associated information using the Physical Exam panel that displays a list of exam categories. The links that appear are configurable by specialty or by provider. The Physical Exam panel displays the system name, followed by exam findings, and the details. On Physical Exam, you can use the One Page Exam link in the left pane to open the One Page-Physical Exam template, which enables you to document the complete physical exam details on a single template. You can also document a single system exam. Physical Exam panel You can select the Office Diagnostics button to open the Office Services template to view or enter the various diagnostic tests and results. You can configure the physical exam systems in the Framework Content system template. Based on the configuration, the systems appear on Physical Exam of SOAP.
