Set Up Links on the Navigation Bar
You can use the Custom Navigation practice template to configure links on the navigation bar. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Custom Navigation practice template. Enter a specialty and enter the name of the link in the Caption field. To search and add the template or list you want to associate with the caption, select Template / Picklist. In Link, enter the location of the link. Select any Age and Gender constraints. Custom Navigation To add the link to the navigation bar, select Add Link. The added link appears on the navigation bar. Open the Custom Navigation Template
You can configure the navigation bar at the practice level. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Select File > System \ Practice Template.The Select Template window opens. Select Template Window Select the Practice tab. Under Show, select All.A list of practice level templates appear. To open the Custom Navigation template, double-click Custom Navigation. Modify Links on the Navigation Bar
You can modify links on the navigation bar. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR. Open the Custom Navigation practice template. Select the link from the grid. View a Document with a URL Link
In Encounter History tab, you can view documents or images using a URL link. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR, and select a patient from the Patient Lookup window. Select an encounter that has a document with a URL link, and select the button. The Encounter Details window opens. Select the document you want to view. The document opens. Open the Care Guidelines Template

View a Document with a URL Link
In the Encounters tab, you can view documents or images using a URL link. Open NextGen® Enterprise EHR, and select a patient from the Patient Lookup window. Select an encounter that has a document with a URL link, and select the double arrow button. The encounter details window opens. Select the document you want to view. The document opens.
