Managing Diagnosis Groups and Codes

You can manage diagnosis groups for documenting patient's assessment and manage diagnosis codes in a specific diagnosis group.

You can use the Manage Diagnosis Groups and Codes panel of the Specialty Diagnosis Group Config template to create diagnosis groups and assign diagnosis codes to the diagnosis groups. The diagnosis groups are used for documenting the details of the patient's assessment on medical record templates. However, there are some pre-configured diagnosis groups available for you in the Manage Diagnosis Groups and Codes panel.

Manage Diagnosis Groups and Codes

The Manage Diagnosis Groups and Codes panel has the following sections.

  • Add Diagnosis Group. You can view all existing diagnosis groups, add and update a diagnosis group, copy an existing diagnosis group to create one, and deactivate an existing diagnosis group.
  • Assign Diagnosis Codes to Group. You can add, remove, and rearrange diagnosis codes for an existing diagnosis group selected from the grid of the Add Diagnosis Group section.
